Jimin immediately jumped off his horse and handed the reins to Hoseok before quickly walking towards Taehyung.Taehyung looked out of breath but still radiant as ever,his eyes were wide and hair,a mess of wild curls against the wind.
"Was the ride fine?",Jimin asked before Taehyung had the chance to dismount the stallion.Taehyung couldn't help but be amused at how worried Jimin looked, eyes etched with concern.
"It was! He is a bit too quicker than my control but I have to say,I am continuously amazed at how strong Andeoarian stallions are", Taehyung said and Jimin's face finally set to a tranquility of sorts.Taehyung dismounted the horse and reassured Jimin once again,"There had been nothing to worry,Jimin.You can stop fretting over it"

"The last time I saw you taming a horse,I thought I'll lose my soul watching you..I have my reasons to worry",Jimin crossed his hands walking over to the shore and Taehyung followed few steps after leaving their personal gaurds behind.

"I was conflicted that day about my feelings.I had danced with you out of spite ,out of bounds of my own heart and the next day we come back from the ride to only see you with my sister.You should understand how I felt"
Jimin huffed out air and tilted his head,"That doesn't mean you can throw yourself infront of a wild beast"
"Exactly,Black wind is tamed and not wild.There's no point in worrying"

"Still-"

"I just told you I was jealous of my sister and you but you're still nitpicking on my way to cope with it?"
"I do not understand you,Didn't I say my heart belongs to you.Why would you believe otherwise?",Jimin came to a stop,turning to his right to face Taehyung who had caught upto his side.
"Cause...cause you could have had a change of mind,change of words-"
"Preposterous!! I would not have a change of mind when it comes to you",Jimin sounded offended and almost furious that Taehyung was drawing conclusions from things he doesn't know.

"But people change,their hearts change.It is not forever-", Taehyung came to an instant halt as his eyes met Jimin's.There was something deeper than Jimin's words let out,pain and hurt.Taehyung wasn't sure if the shine in his eyes was dying sun's last ray or Jimin's agony unfolding into tears bordering his eyes.Despite that Jimin didn't turn his head away at all.And Taehyung foolishly realized the depth of Jimin's affection towards him.The sureness his words held when he said his heart wouldn't ever change about Taehyung,that released a million arrows of pent up emotions inside Taehyung's heart.

"Jimin-", Taehyung whispered low,a hand reaching towards Jimin and stopping in the middle remembering the band of gaurds behind them.

Jimin gave him a sad smile before turning back to the sea,"The sunset, Prince"
And indeed the sun was setting behind the blue sea painting a hue somewhere between orange and red.The shades reached Jimin's eyes in a beautiful honey hue and freed the single tear from his eyes.Taehyung didn't turn towards the sunset at all,he doesn't care about the beauty that nature painted,he doesn't care about the birds flying past horizon,he doesn't care about what the royal gaurd would think seeing their Prince's eyes on Jimin.He doesn't care.All he cared about was the beautiful existence of a human who loved him so dearly,who carried his heart along and Taehyung wanted to fall to his knees and beg the rest of his life with him.

"It's beautiful",Jimin breathed,a sad smile on his lips.
"It is-"

Yoongi bit his lips in dilemma as he met Taehyung's pleading eyes.He sighed heavily,"Taehyung..We are to return back...and You can't just ask half of your royal gaurd to leave.We are here for your protection"
"Actually I can,I am the crown prince "
"I know you can but you shouldn't.It is different from when you are in castle,now you're out in the open near harbour.It is not safe ",Yoongi tried to reason and saw Taehyung looking past him at Jimin who was dipping his legs into the water and laughing with Hoseok urging the gaurd to join him.
"Taehyung,are you listening?"
"Hyung! I just..I need to spend time with him..There's too many eyes and ears in the castle and I can't even hold onto him without being anxious about if someone would see.Besides we are staying in the Night castle for tonight,what could possibly go wrong?"

The night castle on the shore had been built some five decades ago by Taehyung's great grandfather.The war to save the peninsula had caused the castle wear and tear but it still stood strong,at times hosted to the King and his beloved to spend summer nights.
"There are not enough gatekeepers and tower gaurds in Night castle.King would have my head if anything is to happen to you"

And Taehyung rolled his tongue onto the hollow of his cheeks impatiently.He couldn't even put it in words properly.
And Yoongi already knew what was going to happen,there's no winning against the crown Prince.He sighed heavily,his lips turning tight when Taehyung turned to his gaurds,"I,your crown prince, command  half of the royal gaurd to return back to the castle and the rest to accompany me and our guest, Prince Jimin, to the Night castle"
There was a loud response to Taehyung's order,boots clicking against the ground as half of the gaurds split orderly and bowed before they mounted their horses to leave.

"Taehyung..",Yoongi began and Taehyung gave him only tight lipped smile before turning to Jimin ,"Shall we move to the Night castle,Prince Jimin?"
Jimin nodded before leaning down to pick his boots from his side.
"Will it be safe,your royal highness?",Hoseok raised concern to Jimin and Jimin assured him,"Prince Taehyung is here,Why won't it be safe?"

That's how they reached the Night castle standing high on the heavy grey rocks that decorated the western side of Elindross' shore.Jimin remembered the castle from the paintings of the most old tattered book in his study,"The history of Peninsula and it's saviour"
The dark castle stood against the pitch black night proudly but the occupants were scattering around in fear.The untimely visit of the crown prince and his friend was unannounced.The Gatekeepers looked like they'd faint out of sheer cowardice.They bowed in unison as the draw bridges were pulled open.

Once the party reached the main hall, Taehyung turned at Yoongi,"I don't want any gaurds on any of the other floors...also at the eastern watch tower"
Yoongi only bowed knowing that reprimanding Taehyung was of no use.
"Prince Jimin would be hungry,let the kitchens know what his favourites are", Taehyung said before gesturing Jimin to the stairs.Jimin nodded at Hoseok before taking first step towards the top, Taehyung closely following him.

The moment Jimin turned around at the corner,away from the eyes of everyone in the Night castle, Taehyung reached forward to grab Jimin's hand.Jimin was startled and watched as Taehyung came infront of him.
"Forgive me.. I was in shambles until I got you alone...Forgive my foolishness", Taehyung begged.Jimin held his hand in between his and said,"It is alright, Taehyung.You were unaware-"
"No,do not make excuses for me...Let me make it up for you", Taehyung said as he dragged Jimin forward.

"How?!"
"This night is young and ours...", Taehyung called out into the empty corridor and Jimin couldn't help but let out a chuckle at that.
