We're just friends

Chapter 15

"Come on," I said to Jack as he struggled to get his bag from the overhead storage.

"I'm coming." He replied as he followed me towards the front of the plane. He wheeled his suitcase off and we said thank you to the air hostesses and pilots. We walked through the tunnel, and got to the luggage carousels, which is where me and Jack started laughing for a good 5 minutes until my suitcase turned up.

There was someone who tapped me on my shoulder, I quickly turned around and spotted a very tall woman, in her 30s.

"Hi, I just wanted to apologise." She said quietly.

"Wait, what for?" I replied laughing, extremely confused.

"For my son, he took a video of you on the plane. I've since got him to delete it, but I'm so sorry for the way he treated you." She said, very sincerely. She was obviously sorry for any damage her son had caused.

"Oh no, don't even worry about it. We get it all the time, I am just sorry I shouted like that. I really shouldn't have." I responded back, and she quickly replied then walked off once again.

I turned to Jack and laughed again. It was so obvious that we were completely drunk, but neither of us cared. We just tried to have a joke.

"Emily said she got us a taxi, so we just need to find it."

We walked around the airport looking for taxis for 10 minutes, and failed to find any.

"Oh god. Jack, I just realised, cars don't park in the airport, they aren't allowed. They park outside in the car park." I told him and we couldn't stop laughing at our stupidity.

"To the car park then." He replied, pointing out the building.

After about 3 minutes of walking, we finally found our taxi, it was a big huge van, that had more than enough room for me and Jack.

"You go to sleep Jack, try to sleep off at least some of the alcohol." I pleaded with him. After a few minutes of convincing, he fell straight asleep.

"Can you drive a really long way there? Just so it takes 30-45 minutes?" I asked the taxi driver.

"Sure, of course." He replied and I got back to looking at my phone. I finally put the data on and took it off airplane mode, when it started pinging a lot.

The main notification was a spam of messages from Mason and Jesse.

I opened the Twitter app and saw my name trending. When I clicked on it, I was scared what I was going to find.

There was thousands of them which are all so similar. I was getting hate for asking someone to leave us be. I thought it was ridiculous and tweeted something out myself.

I'm just going to put my side of this story, you can listen if you want to. The boy in the video shoved a camera in our face then said to me and Jack, "do something funny for a tik tok." This was before he cropped the video, so you could only see my reaction. Usually I'm not bothered by fans and I will happily take any photos as I want, however this one took it too far.
