3rd person POV

No matter how long she'd wait, it would come eventually. The moment to face Sukuna. His actions spoke clearly the past few days, she'd be badly scolded at best.

"So you're now a speacial-grade, I hear. You want me to praise you?" The style he was speaking in... God, it never felt so menacing.

She was frigthened at the thought of him shouting at her... or him ending the relationship... or worse...

Yes, he really was like that. Go against his orders, and you shall fear your life. Or beg him to kill you finally...

So what's it going to be with her? Someone he claimed he loved? He said it out loud... Yet, it didn't seem to matter to him...

"H- hi..." Her voice was shivering. And so was her entire body.

"Is that all? I think you owe me an apology at best..." His dark menacing voice echoed through the whole domain, as he was looking down at her from his throne, like she was nothing at all.

Dear God, have mercy on her. She hasn't seen him like that for a good while. And damn, was it something people usually got to see only once in their lifetime. Before they died.

"I think you should start with an explenation. Who on Earth do you think you are to disobey my orders?" He said as he made his way down (teleported, or at least it seemed like that) from his throne.

He was now only a few metres away from her, glaring daggers at her. The last mistake you can make is to anger that man.

And she did just that.

"It was a life or death sit-!" She was cut off by Sukuna, now speaking loud and clear.

"It was the same in the hospital afterwards. It took you two days to wake up, so don't come at me with that bullshit!"

"Well, I apologize, Sukuna-sama for not being as smart and fast as you are. Sorry for not being as experienced, and making mistakes." She answered boldly, raising her voice more and more each word.

Something within her snapped. Whatever it was, it really did have a terrible timing because the girl was raising her voice at Sukuna.

And she wasn't giving in. Not this time. Not to him. No. She'll, for once, fight or her truth, noone else's.

"Is that any way to talk to me!?" He asked, raising his right hand...

Pain shot through her cheek, that wasn't just because of the impact of the back of his hand. She could feel a few cuts, from which blood started to spill.

The curse was looking down, refusing to look at the girl in front of him.

"Are you going to cry? What did you expect? I told you I'd be mad. And I'm not saying sorry, because this is your fault..." He turned away, his back facing her.
