It was a warm evening. The sun was setting, projecting many colours onto the originally blue sky.
As for (y/n), she's currently getting ready for something special, something that hasn't happened in almost a year.
For some unknown reason, Sukuna yesterday dropped a bomb onto her by asking her out on a date, saying he'd take her out to the city.
The way he said it was honestly adorable and hilarious. Imagine the king of curses not being able to make eye contact and with a really red face. Yeah, that.
She put so much effort into looking good, though she had no idea why he asked her out.
On the other hand, Sukuna had an... acceptable reason for doing so. Yuuji preassured him into it. Though by the time that brat finished he started to like the idea.
"You two have been together for almost a year, just take her out on a date already. It seems like you don't even care for her-" He was suddenly in the curse's innate domain, getting a strong hit on the back of his head.
Needless to say that Itadori was the 'assistant', planning and arrenging everything for that night. It's not that he didn't hate Sukuna, but he deeply cared for his best friend.
So here she was, excited as ever, wearing a light blue dress for the evening, that Kugisaki gave her as a gift some time ago, with white heels.

She put on some light make up, and did her hair, which took a lot out of her, though she didn't do anything complicated, just a low bun, leaving two strands of hair, one on each side, free.
She then left the dorms and the territory of the school. Yuuji had something to get done in Tokyo before, so he (and Sukuna) were already in the crowded part of the city.
She had to go by foot for a while, so she could reach a station and get to the city. While doing that, she had to take her heels off. The pavement was warm, so she wouldn't catch a cold. Hopefully.
