3rd person POV
The dreadful day came. (Y/n) hated the sunlight that lit up her room, she hated that she woke up from her peaceful sleep. She was scared of what she had to do today.
Time seemed to be going slowly, but still too fast for her liking. She tried to take in every little detail, to which she unknowlingly paid attention.
She took a long hot shower then put on her uniform. She looked one last time at the shelf where she's been collecting all her memories through pictures, souvenirs and so much more.
Just looking at it brought back so many memories. Like when she was sick Sukuna tried taking care of her. Keyword:tried.
Or the many places she's been at on missions. She always brought something home. It hurt to look at it, but there also was joy in her heart. She didn't turn evil, a curse user. No matter what Sukuna did.
Given that, she does have regrets and still questions her decisions. Was it worth it? Was it worth it to be Sukuna's girlfriend and eventually become a curse?
In her perspective; yes. The world could be finally rid of curses, and one life taken away for this - in her view - is better than 10 000 disappearances and strange deaths per year.
She met up with her classmates so they could go have breakfast together, knowing that right after that she'll be forced to get it done with.
She was nervous, to say the least. Many students and graduates loved her, since she always helped out, even on short notice. They all went there just for one thing. To say one last goodbye.
Then, they'd be free. Jujutsu sorcery would exist no more; hopefully. They could live a normal life without having to worry about curses and others' safety.
All that in exchane of the King and Quen of Curses' life. Curse users' hope of taking over the world would mean no harm. Curses themselves would be no harm, because they wouldn't exist.
Still, the pain of losing someone they loved for this is too great.
Gojou also wore a sad smile while petting his student's head, saying how proud he was.
Sukuna helping out was a shocker for sure; I mean who would assume that he, of all people would actually help get rid of his kind.
Yuuji, with a slightly teasing goodbye, switched with Sukuna. After hugging (y/n) tight and crying a waterfall of tears. To which the (h/c) haired girl did the same. She loathed the idea of leaving her brother behind.
But what else was there to do?
In the end Yuuji was grateful that he didn't have to be executed, and he'll get to live on.
(Y/n) took Sukuna's hand as they were on the mountain edge she ran off to the day Kenjaku messed with her friends' memories.
The place had a nice view, they could see far away. They were alone.
"You still don't want to run away?" Sukuna asked while holding her hand and rubbing it as an attempt to smooth and comfort her. She was squeezing his hand tight.
"Let's get this over with. We'll see what happens after..." She looked down with glossy eyes at Tokyo as a tear escaped.
"One last thing..." Sukuna said as he cupped her face and kissed her deep and passionate, which she returned.
They pulled away and (y/n) reluctantly activated her technique. In that moment agonizing pain rushed through her body to which she cried out in pain, Holding Sukuna's hand even tighter.
