The hospital was a twenty minute drive from the company, and as the taxi got caught in traffic I couldn't help but tap my foot nervously.

I looked at my phone. Visiting hours were still open for half an hour.
I was about ten minutes away.
I knew my Mum and Dad were in seperate halves of the hospital - of course they would be.
My father was comatose and my Mum was awake but still in agony.

Apparently they had caught her internal bleeding before it got too bad, so she would pull through.

No idea about my dad however.

When I finally got there, I rushed through the hospital, straight to my Mum's ward.

I found her asleep, as I went and held her hand.
She stirred slightly.

"Y/N?"

"Mhm that's me. How are you?" I asked, almost whispering through tears as I saw the amount of cables and tubes she was attached to.

"Never been better." She joked, before looking at me. "You look tired."

"I just auditioned for a kpop company. I was scouted after hanging out with Yeonjun, y'know. My idol scouted me!" I said with a grin.

"Your friends with Beomgyu now?" She asked, looking at the roof.

"I think so, kind of. I love it." I smiled, kissing the back of her hand.

"Yeonjun's helping me pay for the audition, don't worry. And I'm only buying cheap food. We need to save money for yours and Dads bills."

My Mum nodded, before a nurse came in.

"I'm sorry, but visiting hours are over."

I nodded, saying goodbye to my Mum as I rushed off, back out into the evening.

I stood outside the hospital, waiting for the taxi to arrive.
But I felt tears slip down, as I wiped my eyes.

"Fuck I'm so emotional." I grumbled, before I felt my phone buzz.

Incoming call from @ officialbeomgyu

I picked up.

"Beomgyu?" I said.

"Surprising, I know. Yeonjun told me you were at the hospital, and I figured you might need a ride home. What entrance are you at?"

I felt my heart pound in my chest.

What in the Wattpad?

"Uh I'm at entrance 3." I said, looking around.

A car pulled up in black, with black tinted windows.
Beomgyu rolled the window down with a smile.

"Get in, I'll take you home."

I ran around the side, hopping in the passenger seat.
Was I blushing? Probably.

"You look so embarrassed. Yeonjun.. he asked me to do this." Beomgyu lied, glancing at Y/N.

"Thank him for me tomorrow then. Did he tell you about my parents then? I don't want you to pity me or anything, I'm okay." I smiled lightly.

"Y/N, I wouldn't pity you. I'm actually in awe of you. You're doing so well even though you're probably hurting deep down, and that's impressive." Beomgyu said.

I just nodded, before glancing at his navigation.

"You haven't asked me for where I live."

He pursed his lips.

"No. I thought I'd take you to see something. You did well today." He smiled.

"It's thanks to you y'know." I smiled back.

His song started playing from the radio, as he smirked my way.

"Want to show me your esteemed singing talents too?"

I hid my face in my sleeves. "Nothing gets away from you does it?"

He just laughed. "Not at all."

He started singing first.

I couldn't help but fall into tune, humming along and then singing.

When the song stopped, he looked right at me.

"You heard me didn't you..."

"Yep." He chuckled, pulling over into a parking lot.

"It looks like you're going to kill me- just so you know." I commented, looking at the darkness around us.

Beomgyu rolled his eyes.
"Out of all the things I would like to do with you, murder isn't one of them. So, come on let's go!"
