When I woke up the next morning, it was already 10 o'clock, as I stressed to get ready to hang out with Yeonjun.
As I was doing my make up, I messed up the eyeliner, and felt myself on the verge of tears - this is what happens when you don't get enough sleep, I reminded myself.

Normal cafe, yeah? When are you available?
I grimaced as I felt him message, calling him instead. He picked up immediately.
"You're not ready yet are you..." he trailed, as I chuckled.
"Hell no, do you know how hard it is to put make up on every morning and make it look good?" I responded, eventually giving up and getting a brush to apply it instead.
"We're just going out for like, a coffee, so don't worry too much. You're pretty either way." Yeonjun sighed.
"I might run into the love of my life, okay?" I remarked, as I heard Yeonjun make a grunting noise.
"You are ridiculous."
"Oh I know."
I eventually got out of the house by 10:47, as I met him down at our local cafe.
We ordered drinks and cakes, and sat and talk.
"Have you heard back from Hybe yet? Like, as to whether or not they want you in the trainer programme?" Yeonjun suddenly asked.
"Oh. I had forgotten about that. Would they have emailed me?"
"Probably."
So I went through my phone, scanning my emails.
He did the same just for the sake of it, finding a new one on the top.
I found one as well, skim reading it.
Dear Miss L/N
We are happy to inform you that you have been accepted into our trainee programme, based on our judges criteria and a recommendation from other idols.
We would be delighted to see you again, so please respond as soon as possible with when you are next available to train, and we will organise which programme to put you into.

"I got in!" I exclaimed, grabbing Yeonjun's hand, practically beaming myself.
He smiled back, matching my excitement. "Congratulations! But not to gloat, but look!" He passed his phone over, as I read his email as well.
Dear Mr Choi,
We are delighted to have passed you onto the final selection for debut, with 5 other trainees.
Feedback will be given to you in your next session, which is this coming Monday.
Congratulations.

"We both did it!" He exclaimed, both of us jumping out of our seats to hug one another.
"I'm so proud of you Jun! You're going to debut! Those five other people couldn't be as amazing as you! I'm so happy, you get to live out your dream. Don't forget about me!" I chuckled, giving him a squeeze.
"Of course not! Hey, you may debut as well! God, I could squeeze the living hell out of you right now I'm so happy!" He said, as I placed a kiss on his cheek, before stepping away from him.
"There's my gift, okay? Keep doing amazing Yeonjun." I smiled, as he nodded.
