“The song is written explaining hollowness when it comes to depression and anxiety, and how it traps a person in their own mind torturing with the scenarios of their worst fears. How it controls them more than themselves. I tried to portray the suffocation and emptines with the feeling of being trapped in a supposed 'panic room'. And also point out how people don't understand the depth of depression and anxiety by the words, "you'll know I'm not joking when you see them too". As someone who suffers from anxiety and has suffered from depression I just wants to spread awareness by giving people a fictional look into what it feels like. And why we should be aware of people around us. Though gruesome, I hope the words are considered in one's hearts. You never walk alone in any path.”
