Taehyung's POV
When the woman turned around to watch her kids my heart stopped. Brook was there with Jungkook...
How... how was this possible? She disappeared five years ago. My mind couldn't understand. I got up and stepped outside the restaurant. Had Jungkook known she was leaving? If so, why had she told him and not me? Why did she.... leave me?
I didn't get it! My confusion was now becoming sadness and anger. Why did Jungkook get to know! Who were those kids?! Did she find someone else?! Had she cheated and ran away?! Or... I didn't want to think this but it was an option. Were those my kids? Had Brook left with my heart and my kids in her stomach? Why? I needed answers so I went back inside, ate what I ordered and continued to follow them.
When I saw them at a park and no one around I decided it was time to confront them. I didn't know how to feel. Sad, angry, happy?! I also didn't know how to get their attention so I just tapped her shoulder.
I definitely didn't think she'd pull a gun on me.
"Brook?" She froze and sucked in a breath.
"Taehyung...." She looked more gorgeous than ever. But I noticed that she looked tired and thin. Too thin.
"Hyung?! What are you doing here?!" Jungkook just then seemed to realize Brook was holding a gun. "Noona!" This snapped her out of her trance and she put down her gun. She slightly lifted her dress and slipped the gun into its halter. She had definitely lost weight and gained a lot more muscle.
"Sorry, Kook. I couldn't help it." She turned back at me and just stared.
"Hi.." Now that I had her attention I didn't know what to say. For some reason the tears I had been holding back for the past five years decided it was time to come out.

Brook POV
I couldn't take it. I stepped up to him and put my hands on his cheeks.
"Please, don't cry." I said trying to keep my own tears at bay.
"I can't. I.. I haven't seen you in five years!" He grabbed my wrists and held them in place. "You disappeared! Why?! Why did you leave?! Didn't you love me?!" My tears slipped down my face as I heard his words. I pressed my forehead to his.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Is all I could say. He let go of my wrists and pulled me into him. His arms wrapped around me and I sobbed. I couldn't hold it in. I missed him so much and now that he was here I was so scared. But I didn't want to run away from him. I needed him! I couldn't do it without him anymore.
"Just tell me why, please. I can forgive you I just need to know why." He whispered into my hair.
I separated myself from him and whispered an 'ok'.
"Jungkook, can you please watch the twins?" So far he had just watched us in sympathy and guilt.
"Of course." He left us alone and I led Taehyung to a bench.
"I don't really know where to start.." I said looking down. He held my hand and lifted my head so that I would look at him.
"Just start from the beginning." He said smiling meekly. I nodded and started. I told him everything. When I got to the part about Taylor and Jin he smiled and happy tears came to my eyes. When I finished he hugged me and we just held each other.
"I'm sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing." I whispered into his shoulder.
"I understand now. I would have done the same." He chuckled.
"Eoommaaa!!!" I laughed and separated myself from him. Tae looked pleasantly surprised. I giggled at his expression. He was going to be a great father.

Taehyung's POV
Two little kids came running towards Brook.
"Eomma!" The girl yelled. So this must be Taylor. She really did look like me.  She even had my birthmark. A little boy came running after her, who I assumed was Jin. He look a lot like Brook.
Taylor jumped into Brook's arms.
"Samchon says this man is going to steal you away from Ji Ji and me. You won't let him will you?" She stared at her mother with the same intensity Brook's eyes held. Yes, these were definitely our kids. Brook's gorgeous laugh rang out and I smiled.
"Liar!" Jungkook called from across the playground, jogging towards us. He came to a breathless stop.
"Your getting old Jungkookie." I said jokingly.
"Shut up, Hyung." He muttered.
"No, Baby, I'm not going to let him steal me away. But he is going to be around a lot." I smiled. Brook and I talked about me coming to see the kids with Jungkook. We also talked about our relationship. We decided that we would just see how things went between us before making any commitments.
"Why?" Taylor asked and I giggled. She sounded so offended. She definitely got my dramatics.
"Yah! Eomma, that man has Ta Ta's smile!" Jin yelled and Brook smiled.
"Yes, Jin, he does. You want to know why?" Jin nodded. "It's because he is your Appa." Taylor made a confused face.
"Appa?" I nodded. "Yes. Your named after me. My name is Kim Taehyung."
"Who am I named after?" Jin asked.
"My Hyung." I answered. I knew the guys still couldn't know but I couldn't wait for the looks on their faces when they did.
"But you look much older than the pictures in Eomma's phone." Taylor said and I laughed.
"Kim Taylor!" Brook scolded.
"What I said older not ugly. He is still handsome." She answered defensively.
"Thank you, Taylor." I loved looking at both of them and seeing the mix between Brook and me. I still loved her. I didn't know if she still loved me but I still wanted to try.
We spent the rest of the afternoon playing with the twins and catching up. Brook finally got us to leave saying she had to cook dinner. As we got in car, I decided to leave mine and get it tomorrow, Jungkook put his hand on my shoulder.
"I'm glad your back, Hyung." He said and I knew what he meant.
"Me too." I answered honestly and got in the car.
