Melanie's POV
I was in my room drawing when I heard all the yelling, then it sounded like something was smashed but it wasn't like glass, it had more of an odd sound to it.
I went out to check what happened, everything looked fine. I check all the rooms and then headed for the living room. Cathy was sitting there with a knowing grin, keeping it to herself might I add. William was reading, I doubt it was him.
"What's with all the banging and yelling then?" I asked
"Nothing" Cathy shrugged
The thing with Cathy is that she'll never admit anything with me, like I'm the adult that'll get her in trouble. She makes sure William is on her side but he's easy to break down.
"William, where's Winnie?" I asked
"Outside" He shrugged keeping his eyes locked to his book
"In the rain?" I looked outside, it was pouring. Typical.
I walked outside, Winnie was looking up at Richie. A broken guitar in her hands. I sighed as she ran past me and up into her room.
"Is she alright?" Richie asked
"Fine, just fine...where you headed?" I asked
"Coming back from a show" He said simply
I looked out at the street, then back to Richie. I smiled.
"Wanna come in?" I asked
"Sure" he smiled
