Melanie's POV
Winnie stood there, a horrible expression painted vibrantly on her face. Tears streamed her face even more now, she just screamed and ran upstairs. I looked at William, who looked back to me; then we both looked to Rich. I sighed heavily and pushed past Cathy and Rich, grabbing my coat.
"Where are you going?" Rich asked
"Away from this" I walked out and slammed the door, the rain wasn't as bad as before now
I just wanted out, I didn't want to deal with whatever was going to happen next. What started as walking slowly turned into running, as fast as my feet could carry all the way up to the bus stop. Nobody was there, so I stood against it silently in my own thoughts, until the bus pulled up.
Before I go on I felt a hand grab my shoulder, I twisted around and saw Winnie. I looked at her puzzle because I thought she would've been in her room, but I guess she wanted to get away too.
"I've never been around Liverpool, I want you to show me" She said quietly, I looked at her in amazement then sighed
"You should be home" I didn't think Winnie could handle down town Liverpool
"Please" She pouted her lip slightly and looked me in the eye
"Get on the damn bus" I sighed.
