It has been almost exactly a year since my last book was published. And now, over the last six months, I have finally finished this story (and it's not James Potter lol!). This writing experience was very therapeutic and I hope you are able to relate to the conflict in some of the characters. Tom's need for control. Avril's struggle for acceptance. Animo's unwillingness to see beyond her own goals. Her fear of exposure. Her uncertainty about her identity. All of these traits have plagued me and by writing, I felt less alone. Like I could better understand myself through these characters.
