Ch 12 [Rising Hope]

Komaru's P.O.V

I had found a kid named, Masaru and we were now headed to my brother's school, hope's peak highschool. I had picked up chatter that it might have been converted to a safe haven for survivor's while the apocalypse is going on, i'm hoping it's not just a rumor because i want myself and this kid to stay safe.

Komaru:"Hey, kid. We're almost there, we'll hopefully be safe there."

Masaru:"I wouldn't hold my breath, it's only been a week and the entire world's already fallen apart."

This kid is pretty pesimistic, but i don't entierly blame him for not being very optimistic about this current situation. We're trapped in the middle of a Zombie Apocalypse and people were dropping dead left and right, and most of our loved one's were gone. But to our surprise, there was some hope in this situation.

Hope's peak is still standing, and there's a pretty large metal wall that kept any undead out of the inner area.

Komaru:"Stay behind me."

Masaru:"Okay."

I drew my new triple barreled revolver and approached the gate. I knocked a few time's and eventually someone did arrive at the gate. He had long black hair, red eye's, and was wearing what looked like a business suit.

Izuru:"Who are you?"

Komaru:"M-My name is, Komaru. Komaru Naegi."

Izuru:"Hm. Naegi, are you two related?"

I was surprised to see my older brother jog to the gate, i didn't think he'd be here, i thought for sure i'd end up seeing him as a Zombie or something worse.

Makoto:"Komaru!? Kamukura, open the gate let them in."

Izuru:"On it."

It didn't take that, Kamukura guy to open the gate so we could get in. I was feeling all sort's of emotion's when i saw that my big brother was okay.

Komaru:"M-Makoto,-
