Ch 68 [Rescue in Effect]

Makoto's P.O.V

Okay, myself, Ryoko and Aoi had gotten into the compound me and Komaru's parents were being held in. Granted they were probably safe but i wanted them back, and i didn't care who i had to kill to save them.

Makoto:"We have our mission, get in and out without being seen. If someone see's you, kill them, take no prisoner's."

Ryoko+Aoi:"Got it."

We started making our way through the compound and eventually got our hand's on some uniform's that did keep us hidden from the usual guard's. We didn't speak to anyone so we wouldn't be asked question's that would blow our covor. Thankfully we found a room that had camara's and note's that would give us an idea to where my parents were.

Ryoko:"Look's like they're being held in an underground area, there should be a lift that'll take us down to them."

Makoto:"Then let's get our asses moving, we have a mission."

Aoi:"Wait a second,-

-What are they doing to that guy?"

She had pointed out someone being tortured and experimented on. I felt some level of pity for him, but for all i cared, they could stay and suffer. I couldn't care less. I tugged on, Aoi's sleeve so she'd follow us. I'd likely be getting an earfull when we return to the base but if they don't have much life left their's no point helping them out. We took the lift and snuck to the exact room my parents were being held in.

Makoto:"Mom, dad. I'm here."

Mr Naegi:"Makoto, oh thank god! I didn't think we'd see you again."

Mrs Naegi:"I'm so glad to see you again. Oh,-

-And who might this be?"

She was talking about, Ryoko. Hina didn't come into the room right off, but when she came in, my mother believed that i had two girlfriend's. (Only if she knew)

Mrs Naegi:"W-Well, i do understand that there are no law's against polygamy anymore so you are allowed to do that."

Makoto:"Hah,-

-Only if you knew. I'll explain later, but for now we have to get back to base."

Mr Naegi:"Lead the way. We'll be right behind you."

Aoi:"Stay as close as possible. We can't be seen by anyone."

We took the lift back up and tried to sneak back to the wall we climbed over. But unluckly, we got seen and a shootout started.

Makoto:"Shit shit shit shit! We're beyond fucked!"

Ryoko:(Not if i have anything to say about it.):"G-Gah, ahh!"

I looked over at, Ryoko and saw that her eye's had started bleeding. This scared me, had she been hit?

Makoto:"Otonashi-San! What happened!?"

Mrs Naegi:"Oh no, this isn't good."

Ryoko:"I-I told you, call me, Ryoko!"

Right as she said that, a Tyrant had burst through the wall's which of course caught their attention, giving us the chance to escape. We ran through the hole in the wall. Thankfully, the Tyrant was too distracted by the people shooting at it and we could get away. Thank god.

Ryoko:"N-Naegi-Kun. I-I can't walk anymore, c-could you carry me?"

Makoto:"Of course."

I picked her up bridal like because she couldn't walk for some reason. I had my suspicion that she had somehow controled that Tyrant but i still needed proof before i made accusation's.

Makoto:"Hey, Ryoko. You were controling that Tyrant. Weren't you?"

Ryoko:"Yeah, i was. But as you saw, it has some pretty bad effect's on me."

Mrs Naegi:"Oh dear. How did you end up with that ability?"

Ryoko:"I'll have to explain later."

Mrs Naegi:"You'd make an amazing wife for my son!"

Ryoko:"Eh!?-

-M-Maybe we shouldn't be thinking that far ahead. Especally now."

Mr Naegi:"She's got a point dear."

Aoi:"Sure, but we have to move. We don't want to get caught up in a horde. God know's they won't have mercy on us."

Makoto:"That's right, let's get moving. Follow me."

Mrs Naegi:"Okay, we're right behind you."

We gladly didn't run into to many Zombie's on the way. At least nothing we couldn't handle. And it didn't take us to long to get back to the base. Thank god too, it was starting to get late and god only know's what would've happened if we got stuck out here late at night.
