By lunch, everyone knew.

Well, everyone knew exactly what Lorelei wanted them to.

One, Lorelei Byrd and Lily Evans had been caught snogging in the gryffindor common room earlier that morning by Lupin and Pettigrew.

And two, Lori had drugged Lily with amortentia. Or so Lupin claimed.

Sitting at her table at lunch was much different then the day prior. Glances sent her way frequently, whispers swirling around the room like smoke, infecting everyone's conversation at least once.

She was smirking slyly when Liz and Melissa sat down across from her, both also smirking.

"Lily Evans?" Liz blurted.

"You got the Lily Evans to snog you in front of Lupin and Pettigrew?" Melissa asked.

"She owed me." Lori said simply.

"I didn't even know she liked girls." Melissa grumbled.

"You didn't out her did you?" Liz asked with a brow raise.

Heaving her eyes to the ceiling Lori chuckled, "No, I didn't out her. She wanted to be outed to see if Potter would take the hint." She nodded her head in the direction of the gryffindor table, "It's extremely entertaining to watch."

Potter was sitting at the table with his head on the table, occasionally sitting up and yelling some dramatic phrase before dramatically putting his head down again. His most recent sputtering was, "My Lily flower doesn't even like men."

This, of course, was something Lorelei had to address. She didn't want to shut off half of Lily's prospects just because of her project.

Liz snorted, "He's so dramatic."

"What else would you expect from a Gryffindor?" Melissa said before turning back to Lori, "Now what's next on your plan?"

"This." Standing up from her seat, Lori walked over to the gryffindor table. Avoiding Potter and his cluster of consoles, she bee lined for Lily. Once she made it over she leaned over her to grab an apple off the table, whispering to Lily before standing straight again, "Are you ready?"

Lily nodded so subtly Lori wouldn't have caught it if she hadn't been looking.

Turning away from Lily, She looked at the next closest student, who happened to be Frank Longbottom. "What are you doing later?" She asked.

Looking between Lily and Lori, he stuttered out, "Uh, nothing, I guess-"

"Perfect, it's a date." She said, smiling before walking back to her table.

Sitting back down, the smoke of gossip had formed into a cloud. Rain poured over every group of friends, and Lori got exactly what she wanted.

"What did you do?" Liz said, half impressed, half intimidated.

The cloud had rained over Potter's group, and the Gryffindor boy stood immediately after hearing about Lori's exchange.

"I wanted a confrontation, and I'm getting one." Lori said, smile firmly in place as Potter stomped over. Black, Lupin, and Pettigrew all trying to pull him away back to the table.

"Potter." She said, standing and leaning her hands on the table.

"Byrd." He spat, anger radiating off of himself. "First you steal my Lily flower from me, and then you ditch her for Longbottom." He screeched out.

Every eye in the great Hall watched the two confront each other.

Folding her arms, Lori scoffed, "Well, that's fucked. Why would I do a thing like that?" Leaning in closer to Potter she said in a lower voice that only the ravenclaws close by could hear, "Lily and I aren't dating, so I couldn't ditch her now could I?"

Seven different emotions flashed over the boys striking blue eyes. "But- you-" he turned, "Remus said you told her you'd see her later."

She shrugged, "You don't have to be in love with someone to snog them, you know."

Potter turned his venomous eyes back onto her face, "You-"

"Potter!"

"Punctual as always." Lori whispered, causing Potter's eyebrows to furrow before he turned to Lily.

"Lay off Lori."

"It's Lori, now is it?" Potter said, once again getting heated.

Lily rolled her eyes, "I am free to make acquaintances with whomever I please."

"Lily-"

"It. Is. Evans to you. You seem to be under the belief that I owe you chastity or some such because of your feelings for me." Lily fired back.

"You don't! But why didn't you tell me, or Lupin for that matter, that you weren't even into men! I would've left you alone!"

"That's what it would have taken to throw you off my trail?" Lily raised a skeptical brow.

"Hey dunce." Lori said, drawing Potter's attention back around to her. "She likes both."

Potter looked back to Lily for confirmation. Reluctantly, she gave a small nod. "I like both men and women."

Potter looked relieved and confused all at once, but after a moment's pause, he smirked at Lily, "You mean I still have a chance?"

Lily, expecting this from him, rolled her eyes and walked back to the table.

Potter, now sheepish, ran his hand along the back of his neck, "I suppose I owe you an apology."

Lori smiled sweetly, "Oh no, Potter. No apology needed."

Potter backed away with an awkward wave, leaving Lori standing alone by the table. "It is you, Potter, who will want an apology soon."

Sneaking back into the Ravenclaw dorm was easier than she thought it would be.

She'd just finished snogging Longbottom, who was honestly not a bad kisser.

Dinner was just as she planned it to be, quieter than lunch but everyone was still chatting about the dramatics of the day.

"Your project better leave you time to study missy."

Looking over to her friends, who were sitting by the fireplace, Lori smiled, "I didn't know if you'd still be down here."

"We waited for you." Melissa said with a quick smile before looking back at her home work.

Lori clutched her chest, "You guys are going to melt my frozen heart."

"Yeah yeah. Come here." Liz patted the floor next to her where all of Lori's study supplies already sat.

Sorting through her vast amount of parchments, Lori found her homework page for tomorrow's Arithmancy lesson.

She smiled and turned the parchment over to see her doodles.

A short list in the corner caught her attention as she hadn't remembered writing it.

1. Snog Lily
2. Confront Potter
3. Snog someone else
4. Study for Arithmancy
5. Snog Remus Lupin
