"It's our three week anniversary since our first date."

"We are not celebrating three weeks of dating, Sirius. Come back to me in a year."

"You think we'll date for a year?"

"Maybe. I'm not a seer."

"Regardless, I got you flowers." Sirius pulled a bouquet from behind his back. "There are twenty one flowers for twenty one days of dating you."

Tanking the flowers, Lorelei repressed a smile. "You're cheesy."

"No, I'm Sirius."

Using the flowers she flicked them at his face, "What a horrible joke."

Chuckling, he led her through the courtyard. "I am free to celebrate every stage of our relationship."

Rolling her eyes, Lorelei smelled the arrangement. "They're lovely, Sirius. Thank you. But if you do this every few weeks I'll break up with you." She threatened.

"I'll only get you new flowers when those ones die. It'll be tradition, and as long as our relationship lasts there will be flowers."

"Still cheesy." She said, letting the plants hang limp in her hand.

Putting his hands in his front pockets, Sirius walked alongside her quietly.

"James is officially over Lily." Sirius said after a while, seemingly from nowhere.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

Sirius looked over at her, "Earlier today, he announced to the dorm at six in the morning that he was done thinking about her, and he was going to date someone new."

"Who?" Lorelei asked, stopping in the middle of the path. A grin slowly spread on her face as he answered.

"I don't know yet. I assume one of the many girls who have been waiting for him to get over Lily." Sirius chuckled and grabbed her wrist, gently pulling her back into a walk.

"Oh I can't wait for Potter to fall in love with some new girl. He will trail her like a lovesick fool." Lorelei laughed and nearly dropped her flowers.

Sirius joined her laughter, "He's definitely more of a romantic than I am."

"What about Remus? Is he one for romance?"

Sirius's smile dropped and he scratched the back of his neck, "Uh, I don't know." Looking over at her confused expression, he laughed it off and said, "Shouldn't you be the one to know? You're the one who's shagged him."

Raising her hands in defense, again nearly dropping the flowers, she shook her head, "Hey, I don't know, we didn't really talk much."

Sirius shook his head quickly, "I did not need the mental image of my best friend and you shagging, thank you."
