Today was his 18th, Charlie had a small smile on his face as he realized he was 18 and could move out now. He grabbed his things which were packed already and opened his window on the first floor and climbed out silently while calling his older brother fast " on my way already " he walked out of view of the house and his brothers car pulled up helping him as fast as possible which as a vampire was very fast.
They pulled away driving as fast as they could without getting arrested and Charlie laughed " I'm free, I- I can do whatever I want!" Mac was worried at that but relaxed when his little brother said " I-I can cook whatever I want, and take a bath! Oh! And have friends! Oh this is so exciting Macy!" His little brother was bouncing in his seat," and I can working more hours and earn more money!" He was now crying, "aww Charlie don't cry bun, it's ok we're gonna go out tonight and go eat some burgers and fries you'll love it" Charlie was still crying but half hugging his brother, he fell asleep like that since it was only 12 in the morning. They got home and he carried Charlie inside and woke up his roommate asking if he would help get some clothes for Charlie inside and he agreed. They grabbed his light duffel bags and a suit case locking the car and going inside and setting his clothes in his room. He picked his brother up with no issue making him frown knowing he was skin and bones as he once was. He tucked them in and set his alarm for school. When he woke up it wasn't to an alarm but to someone bawling their eyes out, he sat up and saw his brother in the corner curled up, " hi bubs what's wrong" assuming he got little he was surprised to see a sharp barbed tail curled around his ankle causing him to bleed a lot. "Ok Demon that's surprising" he walked over slowly and opens his arms "hug?" Charlie knocked him over bawling his eyes out "mate isn't- gonna hate me! Scary! Hurt!" He hiccuped and hugged his brother tightly arms wrapped around his neck. He sat up slowly and got up with the help of the wall holding his brother. " What's your class Charlie" he asked quietly as he made way to the kitchen, he got a grunt before saying " I won't treat you any different Char" Charlie lifted his head and said in a whisper " Demon, little sub" he nodded and sighed " good, it fits you perfectly Charlie. You'll just have to find your fated one soon as possible". They decided to stay home and see what his tail did exactly, little kitten like ears peaked out of his curls which were cute. They figured out his tail had a mind of its own and he couldn't make it invisible, or disappear. Through the yelling and tears from Charlie he didn't slip into little space once yet which was odd but some people didn't need to slip often, rare but it happens.
Charlie loved his tail, the ears were weird because his normal ears disappear and the ears on top of his head appeared and got a little bit bigger as the day went on. His eyes are a soft furry brown that matched his locks of brown. He was holding his tail which was like a cat tail but with a black arrow head looking barb on the end, it was really sharp. His ankle was still wrapped from the morning. They were sitting on the couch and he was holding his tail that had wanted to wrap about Oliver's ankle away so he could study it and so his brother wasn't stuck. Charlie was curious as to why he hadn't slipped but was glad in a way, it was enough for his brother to house him he didn't need to take care of a brother and a little.
He didn't have a phone so he couldn't tell his best friend Ralph but they had talked about what species he's wanted (witch), what he would probably get based on his looks (witch cause he fainted at the thought of blood). What status he wanted (sub) and what he would get which they agreed sub maybe switch but probably not. He was pleased with his status but not his species, people didn't like Ralph and he was a demon, he had sharp black horns and could unsheathe a row of pointy teeth, even flash completely black eyes. He could hover about the ground so far which was a lot because his birthday was only a month ago. Ralph liked to scare people that were mean to him but always got a light smack to the arm by Charlie who didn't like people being scared of Ralph, the blonde boy used to be really popular now he was but in a bad way. He was snapped out of his thought spiral by yelling on the other end of Olivers phone. " Charlie isn't dead, just- here" the phone was thrust into his hands and he tentatively put it to his ear, " hello?" A couple yells of relief came from the other end " Charlie you weren't here and - with you know everyone though your were... dead" Ralph said sounding sad, that didn't keep the sharp laugh coming from Charlie quiet. He laughed some before saying " you thought I was dead- Ralph I talked to you you idiot and I'm just working out something's about me I'll be back tomorrow" Ralph made a Hmpf sound and said " fine, I'm coming over to you brothers after school cause I need to see you before anyone else!" Charlie agreed and smiled. He hung up and Oliver looked at him weird, Charlie looked down at the couch worried if Oliver didn't actually like what his species was and if it was finally getting to him. His tail was hovering in the air towards Oliver making stabby motions.
"Charlie, what's wrong" he said carefully taking his tail in hand and getting up and picking up his upset brother. He wondered if he had slipped but when he started talking he new he was wrong " you don't- have to pretend you still love me- no one likes demons" he felt more tears rolled down his face and soon he was bawling his eyes out. "Well Ralph's a demon,
