"Boys we'd like to introduce you to each other, Matthew this is Tyler, Tyler Matthew,

Your powers mirror each other therefore we thought it'd be a good idea to introduce you and have you get to know your opposite. " Both boys nodded not looking up from the ground to look at their fathers.

Mattis dad kneeled sighing " Matti? Can you promise me you'll try to become friends? At least try, and if it doesn't work then we'll come back to it later. " He nodded and hugged his father who was the king of the visiting kingdom. " Alright matti love you we'll be gone for a few hours in meetings ok?" He nodded and let go eyes on the ground once more, he snuck a look at the other boy (Tyler) who looked angry which A) scared matti and B) made him hang back more. Tyler slowly started to walk away, focused on keeping his footsteps silent as he walked down the hallway. Matti accidentally bumped into someone on and got a mean " Watch it you twig!"

He was shoved and his ice suddenly caught him and tyler's foot. He panicked and it grew more up his leg, Matti couldn't melt his ice only make it more and control where it froze. The other boy - Tyler- slowly walked over seeming to be trembling himself as he melted the ice creating a puddle.

Matti- now scared and embarrassed-shoved Tyler and ran off. Tyler curled up and Matti felt like crying as he ran down the other boy had to melt his ice which must've been inconvenient, then was shoved and fell. Tyler didn't move for who knows how long but heard when people started to come down the hallway.

He hid under a small table with a vase atop it and
sighed happily when he didn't have to confront them. When he looked up three pairs of shoes stood there, probably owned by boys of the castle guard. Or he assumed they were boys but because he didn't look up and instead started running.

Matti
He tried to find Tyler only to get lost in the palace hallways, he tried to find someone but couldn't. He had a watch and as it got later and later his tears got a little thicker and his cries a little louder. His stomach hurt and his feet aches in the uncomfortable shoes he had to wear to meet them, he took them off and cried more thinking that all he had to do was not bolt away from those people and this wouldn't have happened.

Tyler

They scared him, that's all he could think. "Those people scared me" They shouldn't have but they did, so he ran, he hid in my room until he realized. Matthew was gone, he for some reason, expected him to be right behind him silently running with the same fear of people. But no and about two hours later when dad knocked looking worried he knew he was lost for sure. " Hey Ty, bud where's Matthew?" A lump in his throat formed and though he tried to swallow he failed" people- um scared us and we... got separated.."he heard his dad swear and his dad grabbed his wrist and had him help them look. It was a small search as they weren't worried but as another two hours passed they considered waking the extra palace guards to search for the prince.

7:30 pm
Four god damn hours later

It was 11:30 at night and the guards were woken up, a full silent search for the visiting Kingdoms prince was being done and it would be another four hours before they found in him in the east wing, the servant quarters far hallway. Curled in a ball trembling from fear or coldness, the east wing wasn't used during the winter because of how naturally cold it got. When they found him his lips were blue, come to find out he wasn't good in cold weather because low iron and his power lowered his body heat to much. So he sat with me hands sandwiched between mine because his fingers could fall off. My dad was anxious to find his dad- the king- because his son was missing whilst they were at another kingdom.

He wasn't pointing fingers but his patience was gone after the first two hours and it had been a total of I'm really sorry" feeling horrible " they were just people. I shouldn't have ran blind though. " he said softly, his dad jogged into sight and sighed with relief, seeing his son. " Jesus matti, oh god I was so worried about you. Your brothers almost came over themselves they were so concerned! You two are going to work on your social skills, this won't happen again I assure you. Now let's get you food and go to bed I'm exhausted.

Matti

My brothers were not happy, dad said I had to call them myself so they would hold a grudge so at 12 at night I was eating soup and sitting my an electric blanket talking to my older brothers. Darren was pissed, so I'd probably get a talking to by him alone. I know he cares but dad won't punish me because he was so worried so Darren would, Darren was the punisher he was the one to think about before doing something stupid cause he would spank your ass and it wasn't fun. He cared a lot though maybe the most.

Guard one (Mayhem)
There was a silent search for the visiting Kingdoms prince, it was a long search surprisingly and when they found him the poor thing was in a ball shivering. Both princes were adorably shy with people so when Tyler bolted it was expected but then prince Matthew took off they were taken by surprise. My partners thought it was adorable though we worried he'd get lost and that's what happened. I was taken aback when we were assigned their body guard while Tyler's was on leave and the prince was visiting.

The next day in the training center

Guard two
God both princes were so shy it was painful, P A I N- F U L. Poor things were basically crippled! They are 17! And Mayhem was holding in laughs because everytime the boys spoke their trainers had to ask the boys to repeat themselves, because they spoke so quietly. And to top it off-

They were drill sergeants! So they couldn't make the Princes cry though they spoke loudly naturally. They couldn't cause to Prince Tyler to cry because he was higher rank than them and they couldn't make Prince Matti cry because it could cause war. (Doubted because his father even apologized if he cry's because he's so scared of everything) but they didn't know that or need to because this was the guard's entertainment. Otherwise the boys were good, both had experience wether it be assassination attempts or just training over the year. The problems truest began when they were told ( and showed) how to fight each other
