first of all.. yes that is jae. i have no more pics of indigo except for the one in the preview bc i lost the muses ig :( they may have deleted it, i searched for a good year or so.. so enjoy indi's fine ass baby daddy in time skip ! 🤭

indigo is undoubtedly one of my fav characters from any of my books and i hope he's yours too. he's def different than a lot characters i wrote. indigo is quieter than jae, which is saying a whole lot, as the only time he uses his words is to fight with people or love on his man an baby. there's no inbetween. at all.

𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐨 ?
to be completely fucking honest with you, indigo was inspired by his story. last year i kept seeing tiktoks about the adoption system and how it completely fails black and queer people. i tried my best to incorporate awareness all through out bb as that's what i made indigo's character for. i knew i wanted someone who truly was .. complex, down to his every word. i also wanted someone new - its honestly embarrassing but i've never wrote a bottom with a lot of tattooss which is embarrasing like i said- indigo is a frontier character as far as his masculinity and femininity .

indigo loves jae more than jae loves himself. however, indigo does not express his love the same, which might lead one to belive that jae is the one puling the weight when it comes to feelings- when that's not indeed true. if anything, indigo's is just as intense if not deeper. my baby is a lover boy 🫶🏾 he's just a little bit scared of the vulnerability that comes with it !

indigo is my first gender-fluid character as well as my first plus sized character ! like i was saying, he is a frontier character ! though i may have incorporated elements of gender fluidity before, indigo's gender expression has actually been incorporated into the book and emphasized as a part of his identity.

he is plus sized; i imagine him with a big stomach, big thighs, big hips, chubby arms, but a very defined pear shape with an obviously snatched waist - in other words he would eat bodycon dresses up. indigo's shape is inspired by @afroditeangelic on ig's character works ! take a look nd if you don't want to, oh tf well <3 he is also inspired by @phaithmontoya on ig
