Steve's POV
I woke up to see Eddie in front of me. He seemed scared n concerned at the same time, "Steve oh my shit-". I spoke softly n tiredly, "Eddie..- Did I scare you..-?". He yelled abit, "YES" n I softly apologized, "Sorry..-". He sounded like he was about to cry, "You where gone and thought you where dead and.. and-". I hugged him, "I'm sorry Eds..". He hugged back n I continued to apologized, "I'm so sorry..". He sighed, "It's fine I was just scared". I smiled abit n Ozzy popped out of Eddie's hair n hugged my head which made me smile fully. He let go n sighed, "Well apparently prom is tonight.". I nodded n he looked at me, "You knew-". I lied, "No- I'm just trying to process what's about to happen.-". He laughed slightly, "Well dearest Steven Harrington." he grabbed my hand n bowed, "Would you do the honors of coming with me to a lame ass high-school dance?". I replied softly knowing I wasn't getting out of it any how, "Sure..-". He comfirmed this, "Good because your going with me no matter what.". I sighed, "Ik.. What time is it..-?". He answered, "Uhhhhh- Good question..". I sighed, "Omfg..". He apoloigized, "I'm sorryyy Scarlett just texted me saying Munson get your dumbass ready also ozzys coming too.". I laughed softly, "Ok..-". He continued, "Anddd I have to go over to her house to get a suit.". I looked over at him with a small smile n laughed softly, "Damn only one of us is gonna look fancy..". He sighed, "Eh don't worry she probably can get one for you too, Josey said she had like 800.". I realized he didn't know I meant I was dressing up, "Oh no I have one I'm just not gonna dress out for that..-". He laughed slightly, "Alrighty then". I sighed softly, "Also I wouldn't trust any clothing from Scarlett..-". He was obviously confused, "Why-?". I just looked at him, "Cause its Scarlett..-". He was still confused, "Anddd I'm not picking up what your putting down.-". I sighed, "I just don't trust Scarlett..". He shrugged, "I'll probably just put a outfit together with what I have unless she drags her shit to the trailer.". I sighed, "She's probably gonna drag her shit to the trailer.". He shrugged n started walking away from Skull Rock while holding my hand. I wondered, "Wonder who's going with who..". He answered the question even though I was actually talking to myself, "Your sister said she's going alone, so is Wayne.". I sighed, "Oh..". He continued, "Houston's going with Scarlett n Suzie's going with no one I think and obviously your going with me.". I laughed softly, "No shit.. I'm never going with Robin again..". He looked over at me, "You went with Robin before??". I nodded, "A few years.. She was too scared to ask Vickie..". He sighed, "Ahh, Other than freshman year this is the only time I went and that was one of the worst nights of my life, so this better be great.". I smiled, "Mhm, Well I think it'll be lovely cause your going with me..". He laughed softly, "I believe you may be correct on that, Harrington.". I smiled jokingly, "I know I am..".

Steve's POV
I walked in n went right over to the area with the least amount of people. Eddie followed n leaned on me while we watched the chaos. After a bit Scarlett played actual music n Eddie stood in front of me bowing with his hand out, "Steve Harrington, may I have this dance.". I am not one for dancing at Proms or really in general, "Eddie I'm not gonna dance at all. No way in hell.". He whined, "Aww come on.". I sighed, "No Eds.". He kept whining, "Nothing is better then dancing to a cringey high school song.". I sighed, "Eddie I'm not doing it- No- Omfg-". He continued, "One dance, that's all I ask.". I was not changing my mind, "Ugh, omg no please just no I don't wanna dance, I'm sorry.". Eddie gave up on trying to get me to dance n went on his own with Ozzy, "STEVE YOU BETTER NOT BE LOOKING AT MY ASS.". After a bit of drama Eddie walked back over to me, "Would you uh.. like to go star gazing? At Skull Rock?". I smiled, "Yeah". He looked at me, "Then come on". I replied, "Ok-" n we walked out.

We laid down on the rock together n I started to explain, "Steve..? Uh.. The real reason I brought you here.." we both sat up n looked at each other n I continued, "Shit this is.. harder than I thought..".
