When you uglier than the snowman 💀(Ch. 25)

(First Person POV)

Hmm, it's dark. I can barely make out a ceiling. I'm still in bed. I should go shower now, I'll work out later.

The water seems a bit colder than normal, but I like cold showers. After having finished bathing, I brush my teeth and dress up, in a T-shirt and shorts.

I should start my day well! Doing this is essential for making healthy patterns. I should go outside and-

Brrrrrr

It's pretty chilly. Why is it so dark outside? I should probably go change into something more suitable for this weather.

(Small Timeskip)

It's 4 in the morning... I'm actually dumb. Oh well, I guess I'll still head out, why? I dunno, maybe some winter sales are still here and I can afford a few things with the money I've saved.

As I head outside, I'm immediately met with a cold yet comforting feeling. It's cold, but not to the point where it becomes uncomfortable, plus the comfort of my clothing is always nice.

Walking down the streets, I begin to reflect.

It's strange how much has happened recently. With all the new friends I've made, how much I've opened up compared to before and uhh, being in a relationship.

It makes me think... Why me? Surely there are people out there more kind, charming, cool and... good-looking...

???: Hey Y/N!

Hmm? I turn to my side and see well, Nene. I somehow ended up in front of her house. Strange, is this some sorta message?

Y/N: Hi.

Nene: What are you doing up so early?

Y/N: Just walking around. Maybe buy something along the way. Y'know, 'cause of winter sales.

Nene: Oh, can I tag along?

Y/N: Sure.

After walking around a bit, I find a store that sells gaming equipment. I think it's time I replace one of my controllers.

Y/N: I'm gonna go in there and get something.

Nene: Sure, I've got nothing to do really.

Going inside, I wasn't really expecting much other than to get a new controller. Finding Kaede in there wasn't part of the plan but eh, it's cool.

Kaede: *slowly* Hello L/N-San and Onemine-San

Y/N: Hello.

Nene: Hi.

After getting a new pretty good controller, I head out with the both of them. We come to a stop, mainly because we both lost Kaede (for like the 100th time).

When we find her, we see her building a snowman, without a care in the world... I wish I could be this care-free.

After the snowman falls apart (due to her lack of attention), Nene goes to help her. It's funny seeing her struggle to help Kaede.

Y/N: Oof!

I receive a snowball to the face. I look to see Nene calling me.

Nene: Come on! Don't just stand there, help me!

I chuckle and run over to help.

(Small Timeskip)

Why does the snowman we built look... Better than me? This is actually quite sad.

Kaede: *slowly* Yay... We did it.

Why... Let me guess, we're gonna find a nutcracker that looks better than me soon. This sucks.
