Hm, spending the morning of a new year at Nene's house is nice. Though it can get a little chaotic.
Nene: Sorry for asking you to come over.
Y/N: It's fine, I wanted to be here.
Nene: It's strange how quickly your parents let you come here.
Y/N: Yeah...
Anyways, as I sit around and look after the youngest sibling, I think to myself. I feel like I'm forgetting something... Something traditional...
Y/N: Hmm...
Just then I hear a phone start ringing.
Y/N: I'll get it.
Nene: Jeez, where are those little gremlins?
After racing to the noise, I see one Nene's siblings, Kazuya, pick up the phone.
Kazuya: Yes! Kazuya Onemine, 5 years old!
???: Who?
Y/N: Ah, hand that over please.
Nene: There you are!
After taking the phone, I find a quieter spot to talk to while Nene just, does whatever with her siblings.
Y/N: Hello?
???: Y/N? Is that you?
Y/N: Hm? Tadano-kun?
Tadano: Oh? What are you doing with Onemine-san's phone?
Y/N: I'm just over at her place, helping her look after her siblings.
Tadano: *Suspiciously* Okay...
Y/N: Why'd you call?
Tadano: Najimi-Chan asked if you guys wanna come to the temple.
Y/N: Uh... Hold on a sec.
I mute the microphone and call Nene.
Y/N: Should we go to the temple with the others soon?
Nene: Oh yeah sure!- HEY!
Damn, I kinda don't wanna get in her bad side. Anyways, I go to unmute myself and respond.
Y/N: Yeah, we can go.
Tadano: Perfect!
Najimi: That's not Onemine-San on the phone-
I hang up instantly, not wanting to deal with Najimi's bullshit- I mean shenanigans. Oh right, Nene.
Nene: So when are we going?
Y/N: Oh, I don't know.
Nene: Didn't they tell you?!
Y/N: I hung up early.
Nene: Why?!
Y/N: Najimi-Chan was with Tadano-kun.
Nene: Oh. Also what's up with the frequent change in honorifics? I just find it weird.
Y/N: Oh, I just never really learned them until I was like 8 so I always use what comes first to mind.
Nene: I see.
Y/N: Anyways, I'll call him to see when we're meeting.
Nene: Oh yeah, does Tadano-kun know about... Well... The two of us?
