Luke's POV
As Hermione enters the room I stand up and start to walk towards her. She looks around then when she sees me, she starts to smile. I like her smile. It's nice. Even though I'm a Slytherin her smile makes me want to smile. We talked for a little while after ordering our butter beers. She talked about the ball. I have to ask her I thought. When she took a break from talking and it was my turn, "Um hey Hermione?" "Yeah?" "Do you maybe want to go to the dance with me? "There was a brief pause and I thought Oh no someone's already asked her, Or she just doesn't like me. But at that moment, she leaned over and kissed me on the cheek"I'd love to." She replies as she smiles.And with that, she says to me "it's about time for me to get together with Sophie and Sky, but thanks for the drink." I smile and wave as she walks away.
