Toms POV...

The next day, after Hermione was moved to my dorms, I went down for breakfast. I picked at my food not even realizing it until Victoria spoke.

"Tom." She said suddenly, startling me a bit.

"What?" I spat back at her.

"You're not eating."

"And when did my business become yours?"

That shut her up. I sighed, obviously, I wasn't going to be eating today. I got up and stood to leave. Glancing back at the table full of food, I bent down and grabbed a roll and a green apple.  Leaving the noisy room to the vacant, quiet hallways was peaceful.  It allowed me to think.  I took the long way to the library.  It's probably a good idea to get a few books to read.  I would need them later to occupies myself with all these dimwits running around disrupting things.

When I arrive at the library, I went straight to the restricted section. I checked the locks and saw they were basic Muggle locks, I could easily unlock them when I come back later tonight.  Walking over to the other rows, I browsed the library for awhile until becoming very annoyed with some 1st-year students gossiping about some Griffindor boys. I rolled my eyes and exited the room.  Walking down the hall ways I became so lost in random thoughts, I didn't realize I walked all the way to my dorm.

I could smell something that seemed to be a mix of lavender and mint, as I walked in I noticed Hermione's bed was empty. I whipped around suddenly towards the bathroom where a completely shocked, and almost naked Hermione stood in the doorway.  The sent, now stronger was coming from the bathroom.

I turned around quickly as I could feel my face start to blush. What is it about this girl? I never blush. I could hear her shuffling through her bags, most likely looking for something to put on. Hermione disappeared again into the bathroom, only to come back out minutes later wearing her robes.  I slowly faced her again and she stood there looking down at her feet.

"Would you like to eat something?" I said breaking the awkward silence.

She nodded vigorously, which made me chuckle a little. I started to walk out of the dorm and she followed me all the way to the kitchen. When we got to the painting of the fruit bowl. Hermione steps forward and tickles the pear, without me saying anything about it. If she's never been to Hogwarts before and has been with the Slytherins for almost the whole times she's been here. How does she know how to enter the kitchen?  I thought to myself until I noticed the strange girl had already entered the room.
