DISCLAIMER/EDIT: If anyone mentions Tails' age again, I'm gonna kms. This Tails is from Secret Histories, where the characters were literally actors and Sonic was smoking weed. 😕 SH Tails in this is a murderer, manipulator, tortured people, and literally curses, plus he literally does not resemble Tails' child like demeanor. So from that, I assumed he was an adult. Just because he's supposed to be Tails that does not mean they're the same. THEY ARE DIFFERENT CHARACTERS. If I find out that SH Tails is in fact the same age as regular Tails, I'll simply take this down. Stop commenting about it, PLEASE. It's starting to make me uncomfortable. "Hey!!"
You laughed as Sonic squirted you with a water gun. You ran behind tye nearest person available, which was Amy. As you hid behind her, she got soaked by Sonic instead of you.
Amy crossed her arms in disappointment as water dripped down her quills. "Sonic!! Stop that!!"
Sonic laughed and attempted to shoot her again, only to run away in fear as Amy took out her hammer. "Sonic!!" She let out a hefty laugh as she chased after the blue blur.
You laughed as you wiped off the dripping water off of your face.
Luckily for you, it was actually relieving to get shot with water. It was scorching hot because of the summer heat, and Sonic had gotten the idea to start shooting people with water.
Of course, you had to be his first test subject.
Before you could chase after the two, a voice rang out behind you.
"Having fun?"
You turned your head around in a startled manner, only to be met by Tail's smiling figure. You let out a sigh of relief as tension left your body. He took a step back.
"Woah, there. You okay?" His smile faltered.
You nodded. "Yeah." You turned back to look at the fighting duo only to find them gone.
Tails stood quiet, seemingly following your gaze.
"Seems like they were having fun. Especially Sonic." He emphasized Sonic's name with an overly happy tone.
He met eyes with you. "Are you having fun, _____?"
You had no reason to feel a sense of dread, but you did. You gave him a forced smile.
"Yeah, I guess."
He gave you a thin-lipped smile. "Amy's organizing a party for Sonic. Isn't that nice?"
"She is? That's nice of her to do." You avoided his gaze.
Why were you feeling so.....anxious all of the sudden? You couldn't put your finger on it, so you let it slide.
"Yes." He scratched his chin. For a brief moment, he seemed to want to say something but stopped himself, thinking better.
"So. Do you want to get something to drink? It's really hot, and I'm really good with drinks." He gave you a grin.
