☾ Scourge hates this. Why should he let Sonic talk to you? He feels irritated every time he sees Sonic chatting with you.

☾ The green hedgehog immediately snapped back to attention as you rambled about your day at the cafe. You went out with your friends, with Amy, Tails, Rouge, and Omega. He calmed his annoyance down by the time you were finished, admiring your expression.

☾ Only to have it blocked by none other than the stupid blue hedgehog.

☾ "Yo!" Sonic stepped in between you guys, pushing Scourge away as he began to chat it up with you. Sonic sent him a sour glance, looking him up in down before looking back at you. What is he doing here?, his expression read. "How you doin'?"

☾ Scourge resisted the urge to grab Sonic by the scruff of the neck and yank him away. He grit his teeth, stepping away and over to your other side. Only for Sonic move in that direction too, blocking his path again. On purpose.

☾ Scourge gripped Sonic's shoulder and shoved him away, pissed off at Sonic's audacity. Sonic let out a growl and snapped his head towards Scourge, smirking in annoyance. You smiled awkwardly. "Yeah, my day has been pretty well."

☾ "Yeah, that's really good." Sonic forced through gritted teeth, glaring back at a very pissed Scourge. 'Do that again' Sonic hissed discreetly at Scourge. Scourge scowled. 'You started it, stupid hedgehog.'

☾ You scratched the back of your neck. "Um. I gotta go home so—"

☾ "Let me walk you home." They both said in unison. They sent each other looks of annoyance.

☾ "Uhhh, sure." You smiled awkwardly as the atmosphere became more tense. They both grumbled as they followed you, trying to walk faster than one another.

☾ As you walked home, Sonic and Scourge had begun to spit insults at each other as you talked. It escalated to the point where you had to intervene.

☾ "Listen here, you imbecile—" Sonic waved a finger at Scourge's face. Scourge almost bit off Sonic's finger. He grabbed at Sonic's neck. "Shut the hell up already, you annoying rat—!"

☾ Before you knew it, punches were flying. You tried to stop them, and Sonic managed to hook your shoulder and make you tumble down with them. "DUDE-!!!"

☾ Sonic had already landed a punch on your leg, as they fought. Scourge was the first to notice the harm you were in. Scourge snatched you away by your waist, kicking Sonic away as he held you up.

☾ "Look what you did, blue!" Scourge growled, helping pat off the dust on your jacket. "Are you okay, sweetheart? Did you get hurt?" He asked oddly tenderly, but with a focused, irritated gaze. You were about to respond before Sonic stood and once again pushed Scourge away to get a look at you.

☾ "I—Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" Sonic tried to apologize for hurting you before Scourge shoved his face away in annoyance. "Stop cutting me off or I'll kick your ass!" Scourge hissed, initiating another conflict.

☾ "Guys." You tried to interfere as they went on another tangent. Sonic growled at Scourge, attempting to trip him. "GUYS." Scourge evaded him and smacked him in the head. "GUYS!"

☾ Both of them froze, staring at you. You gulped. "Um. Stop fighting. Please...?" You asked weirdly, cringing. You didn't exactly want to yell at them, it might irritate them further. "It makes me uncomfortable. And...disappointed."

☾ Scourge was the first to let go Sonic, dusting himself off before walking towards you. He hooked his arms on yours. "Sorry." He was being genuine. He didn't want to make you upset, no matter how much the blue hedgehog annoyed him.

☾ Sonic reluctantly followed, grumbling and crossing his arms. He evaded your gaze. He knew better than this, and he knew it. "I'm sorry."

☾ You grinned. "It's okay." You glanced at both of them. "Just don't this again. Or I'm gonna yell at you."

☾ "Yes ma'am."
