HC|| How long it takes them to ask you out

(Smiley: Yay! More HC's!! Btw, when I refer to "Café Fleetway", I mean the nice Fleetway that doesn't remember his past deeds. Basically Fleetway when he lost his memories. I just like saying "Café Fleetway" because he was technically working at a café during this time.)

SONIC:
Moderate time, but it can vary if someone's hyping him up (Tails). He gets nervous around you but tries to play it off. You're the only person he's really gotten nervous around, so he needs a bit of time. Might leave you secret gifts in the meantime, though. <3 When he finally does, he's ready to back off if you don't feel the same way about him. If you do, he'll get really hyper because of how much happiness he's feeling. He'll go walking around as if he just got the most caffeinated drink in existence. XD

SHADOW:
Really long time. He seriously needs some time to consider why and what he's feeling because he's never really experienced love before. Consider yourself honored, because you've left him stumped. He really does mean to confess to you at times, but he always gets interrupted so he takes it as a sign and leaves it for another day. If you reject him, he would probably just be awkward afterwards but wouldn't insist for you to date him or anything and most likely move on. If you do, he also wouldn't know how to react. He would most likely stand there, astonished, and stare at you for a while before you snap him out of his daze. And then you would cuddle. <3

SILVER:
Loooooong time, buddy. He just gets so much anxiety that he thinks he might die of stress before anything. He overthinks everything and can't decide if it's a good idea or not. Considers it to not be a good one but then you walk by and he's reconsidering his choices. When he finally caves in, he's just ready for you to reject him (as much as it hurts him) but he goes through with his decision and confesses. If you actually like him back, his face immediately just bursts out in a red color (he most likely faints afterwards because of how anxious he was, lol).

MEPHILES:
Relatively slow, but quicker then most, surprisingly. If he's in love with you, you guys are most likely already close, and he doesn't want to ruin that. He just hates waiting, so he eventually confesses. He would be pretty bothered if you didn't like him and would try a few more times before giving up. If you do, he would immediately try to ask you out on a date. This man has no shame. Most likely two days after, he would take you on a date and he'd probably explain to you how unsuspecting he had been over falling in love with someone for the first time in his life. He really doesn't have anything to hide and he prefers being truthful, so it would be about time he confessed.

INFINITE:
Moderate, because he doesn't want it to drag out long but he also doesn't want to admit it. He has a sense of pride, you know, and it's hard for him to communicate his feelings without feeling stupid or embarrassed. When he finally confesses, he's internally fighting himself to not confess. If you like him back, he'll be so happy but he won't express it. You can still see it because of the blush on his face, though.

METAL SONIC:
Pretty fast, it just takes him a while to realize that what he's feeling in love. Like, in the beginning of your friendship, he'll mistake it for platonic love until he realizes he doesn't really feel that way with anyone else. He would even put his pride on the side to go ask his main rival, the blue blur himself, about what he's feeling. After he realizes that what he's feeling is in fact, romantic, he'll confess a few days later.

ZONIC:
Moderate. He likes to cut the chase, but he'll only do it when he finally thinks you're the right one. It would take you guys a while to actually get close enough to label yourselves as friends, so imagine how much time he would need to process what he's feeling and if it will affect him negatively. After that, he cuts to the chase in one of your confrontations about him being too distracted during one of your missions, and he just confesses right then and there, completely catching you off-guard.
