Request info: oh nice :D author, are you familiar of the exe - Curse? a oneshot with him would be cool, preferably angst? >:) thank you for considering!

(AN: This might be one of the only times I'll write for this character, tbh. Also, I leaned in heavy with the angst, since it's my actual first time specifically writing some for a whole oneshot.)

Summary: After the last tragedy, Metal Sonic decided it was best to transport Curse to another universe. Curse now finds himself in a desolate world, or so he thinks....

Notes: You are the only inhabitant of this planet, you've basically been here for a few years, and you were also transported here because you were deemed as a threat in your own universe. It's always night here, and the stars are the only light source. Reader is not in a good mental state, they've been isolated for a long while, so they are way too paranoid.

A cold, sharp breeze ruffled the quills of the shivering hedgehog, his hands grasping at his arms for comfort. It had been a week since he had arrived here, but he hadn't caught sight of any living beings. Not even the familiar sight of a bright blue flicky caught his eyes as he scanned the desolate forest.

He was currently standing in a clearing, where the stars of the sky shined down on him with a dim, white light.

It had been a week since he had last seen daylight. It had been a week since he had last seen the familiar reflection of his face. It had been a week since he had caused the Doctor's death. The emotions hadn't hit him yet, to his own surprise. He felt a tug at his chest when he tried to think about his ex-enemy, but it was as if his mind wouldn't, it couldn't, allow him to get too close to the memory.

He stood there for a few seconds before deeming it safe to move forwards, his shoes crushing the grass beneath him.

His eyesight failed him, letting the shadowy figure hidden behind the darkness of the forest slide past his vision. He didn't glance back, much to your still figure.

It had been a week since you had been startled out of your daily routine by the sharp light of a portal. It wasn't the bright light that had startled you, it was the being that came out that gave you the biggest scare of your life. Or at least what was left of it.

So now, you had been monitoring whoever it was that had appeared on your grounds, hiding like a mastermind behind the shadowy void of the woods. It was the place you had been living in for years, the forest was singed into your memory.

Your cape weighted down on your shoulders, but it was one of the only things that could keep you warm in the eternal nightly cold this world had to offer. It swayed to your movements, silent footsteps trailing behind the unaware hedgehog.

He stopped abruptly, his ear twitching. You lay still, silence ringing in your ears as he stood there. You shallowed your breathing, the mask covering your face helping to lessen the noise. He seemed to relax after a few minutes, his posture returning to normal.

He kept his original pace, walking along the trees.

You stood there for a few more minutes before allowing yourself to move, your hand twitching as it neared your belt, where you had a small dagger ready for use.
