I tend to have a very wicked habit of dropping Easter eggs in all of my books and it usually starts right from Chapter 1 ( •̀ ω•́ )y
Now for people that really dig the well-thought out books with a ✨rich✨ plot —like me— this can be an exciting journeywith the foreshadowing, Easter eggs...etc🤩
As for others that are here just to get the 'surface level fun' (romance part) of the book, I would still recommend not skipping the Prologue chapter "A Letter To Father" :)
It really holds the heart of the story in many ways, do give it an extra read whenever<3 you'll find out later why I'm saying so 🤓

▶Meet Agent V. A hitman who stubbornly so claims to be an asexual, and has a strict code against contracts entailing killing girls or children. (Doesn't mind older women and men, though.)
▶He also lives alone with his little doggie, Yeontan. And the care-taker of his forest penthouse Miss Lee. Miss Lee is deaf and mute. She's yet to make her debut...
▶Agent V has strangely and particularly good habits of never drinking. Not smoking. Never partying. Never sleeping around. Dressing up well. Speaking sophisticatedly. Meditating. Drinking ginseng and working out daily. Training in odd skills and being exceptionally good at martial arts. Not swearing or cussing. Especially at women.
▶Agent V says he doesn't have friends. (But a lot of people say they're his friends.)(he says they're not his friends.)

▶Now Agent V has a mad sus basement in his penthouse with an assortment of interesting (torture) tools, barrels of sulphur acid, and other drugs tucked away all around wherever Roa can see.
▶His whole penthouse also has been restructured to accommodate high security and odd torture cells for people he calls his patients while he calls himself a doctor. Roa hasn't really seen anyone else aside from herself here so far though. ...Not even Yeontan.
