"You are texting! Himala! Marunong ka pa lang mag-type! You always do calls or voice messages. Parang ang effort sa iyo ang magtext, but look at you..." Samantha laughed at him while she placed food on his table. "You should start eating healthy food than smoking at lunch. May shoot ka?"

Tumango siya ng tipid, tutok pa rin ang mata sa kanyang cellphone.

Baby Love: Bhie, call me tonight. I am so stressed!

Thea is a frequent texter. Maya't maya ito nangungulit lalo na kapag walang pasyente. Pati tuloy siya ay walang magawa kapag hindi ito busy. 

Nararamdaman niyang nababawasan ang kanyang sama ng loob kapag kausap niya ito. But when he sees her face, he remembers how hurt he was to be left out without anything. No message, no letters, no updates. 

He knows how dependent he was on Thea back then. Pakiramdam niya ay naputulan siya ng paa. Since then, he has made sure that he would work his as* off and focus on things that matter and, more importantly, that will never happen again. 

He cannot be hurt like that anymore, like how Jane always hurt him. He cannot wait that long for someone like he waited for Jane to change. 

But he's playing with fire. His amusement in being able to talk to Thea just like before led to something unexpectedly addicting. After all, she's still the fck buddy he enjoyed sex with. Even if it was only through the phone, he imagined her when they were younger, how domineering she allowed him to be on her then blossoming body. 

Bhie: Don't talk like that.. I get excited, Baby. I'm still at work, baka hindi na ako makapagfocus niyan..

Baby Love: I didn't mean we'll have phone sex again, although we can decide later! I want to have dinner with you while we are on the phone.

Hindi niya alam kung bakit mas excited pa siya to get intimate with Thea than to accept invitation from their magazine models lately. Lagi siyang tumatanggi at mas gusto niyang kahit sa telepono lang ay si Thea ang papaligayahin niya. He enjoys her sultry voices, he missed her moans, and dirty mouth when they were having sex. Nagtipa siya ng reply, 'I have a shoot.' But that would be a give away. Nag-isip siya muli at nagtype ng mensahe. 

Bhie: I am sorry, Baby. I have to work overtime. Pwede ba bukas?

Baby Love: Ganon? Kapag hindi phone sex, ayaw mo akong kausap?!

Napatuwid siya ng upo. Fck, she's mad.

Bhie: Hindi naman sa ganon. I am just busy..

Baby Love: Paano ka naging busy 'e 8PM na 'yun? Hindi ka ba kumakain sa gabi?

He could already imagine Thea's frown. Kahit noon pa ay napakataray na kaya napapatiklop siya. He wants to think hindi na siya ganoon ngayon kay Thea so he answered calmly.

Bhie: I rarely do. I smoke.

Baby Love: Magsama kayo ng sigarilyo mo! Tse!

Nabother siya. Are they having LQ again? Gago, anong LQ?!

"Hey, I said Laviña will be late for an hour later. Meron pa raw taping sa ABS." Tinapik ni Samantha ang kanyang lamesa, "Sino ba iyang katext mo? You are spacing out.."

Huminga siya ng malalim at itinuon ang atensyon kay Samantha.

"Bakit siya male-late? I hate late. Nasaan ba si Anton? Call him and tell him siya na ang magshoot mamaya, I want to have dinner at home." Naiirita siya. Magtatampo na tiyak si Thea kaya pagbibigyan niya na sana.
