i sit on my bed while watching the T.V hanging on the cream wall.
i hear a knock and turn my head toward it.
" come in" I blink my eyes weakly
this medication does fucking shit to me and I hate it.
Leo finally went back home to take a shower and i am more than thankful he did. even though i don't mind him being all dirty next to me i would love him either way, but he needs to know that i will be okay.
the door opens and i see a tall blond guy standing.
God...he's tall as fuck...taller than Leo.
he looks at me scanning me then scanning the room with his hazel eyes.
" w-who are you?" i sit up slowly
he raises an eyebrow and takes slow steps towards me and i hunch back quick grabbing the nurse button
he looks at what i grabbed and widens his eyes in shock
" oh don't worry I'm not here to hurt you" he raises his hands but his face as blank as ice.
" I'm here to keep you protected, or i have to make sure its you because the photo i have of you doesn't really match your current state" he titls his head looking at his phone then me
my eyebrows frown in confusion
" protect?...me?....who are you" i say staring at him
" oh uh i am Cass. i am sir Leo's right-hand man" he turns to the photo and its a picture of me smiling big with my tongue out
my cheeks heat up quick
" H-HOW DO YOU HAVE THAT...and you said...Leo's who..." i frown feeling mixed emotions
" i was given it by the boss" he turns his head looking everywhere. he then brings his wrist near his mouth and says something as if there is a mic there. one i couldn't see.
" windows seal. door checked. bathroom checked. no mics or cameras. outside status?" he talks while looking all around the room and I just stare at him
" okay good" he puts his hand down
" your eyes are beautiful" i blurt out. his eyes are very beautiful...
he stops and looks at me giving me a thanking nod
all of a sudden many men come inside the room. them all wearing suits. they all buffed and ice-cold faces.
I've seen them before. the time i tried to go to him and i was chased.
i gulp feeling overwhelmed and start fidgeting around as they all stare at me
" honey I'm ba-...what the fuck are you guys doing" i shivered at Leos's change of tone
yeah, for sure i have heard his ice thick tone but this...this was something else.. even i straight my back with all of them.
everyone in union chanted a " sir" raising their hands to their chest then down
" i told you fucking idiots not to come inside. or near her. guard her from outside." Leo pinches the bridge of his nose then looks at me
he rushes towards me and cups my face " I'm sorry they all ran in I'm gonna tell them to leave"
before he could do anything i grabbed his arm " wait"
i looked at all of them and gulped " t-thank you guys so much for trying to protect me. i mean it dearly."
they all seem to flinch a little as well as Cass then go back to their posture
" if you guys want you can sit here. i can order you guys food" i say feeling bad.
" honey" he grabs my chin making me face him " they can't they have work to do" he pecks my forehead
" but they all might be hungry...you come in and cuss at them Leo. that's not nice when all they are trying to do is protect me. i feel awful that because of me they were insulted and they don't even get a lunch break." i frown looking at him
i see Leo go tense when i hear a chuckle let loose from cass but he covers it up fast with a cough
" i am very much protected by all ten of them here. now let them stay and eat a bit before you send them off to work again" i cross my hands over my chest
Leo stares at me then takes a deep breath " sit down. i ordered pizza. i don't care if you like it or not. eat or lea- OWCH HEATHER!"
" BE. NICE!" i glare at him then look at all of them with a warm smile
" sit down guys i was just about to put on rapunzel" i grab the remote and make space for Leo. he stares at me as if he is speechless and the crowd also looks at me and him speechless.
i go still. did i do something wrong?....
" w-what?" i gulp
" Nothing my princess" he whispers then pecks my forehead sitting next to me and as he does so does everyone else.
