Chapter 1

Lyrics's POV

What is this? I feel like my whole body is wet. I opened my eyes to see my mom pouring water on me. How can he be so cruel?

"Wake up, our young master. How about preparing for your first day in class now?" My mom nagged. It is too early. They won't drop me just because I am late. They will never dare do that.

My mom is the sweetest one, but he is strict when it comes to my studies. He always say that I have potential.

It is my last year in secondary education. I could not wait to be in college.

I called my bodyguard Rock. I want them to pick Sunny first. Sunny is my best friend since I was four. I bought him. I mean I asked him to be my best friend because he is so cute. He comes from an average household and I shower him with gifts because I love him so much. He is a very good companion to me.

I don't want to wait for him so I better have him go here before I leave for school. I sponsored his studies too.

"I am on it, mom." This laziness of me is my daily struggle.

"Please study well, Lyrics." My mom reminded me.

I can't even be in the top 10. Well, I am smart, but I hate doing assignments. This is a secret, I am paying my bodyguards to make my projects.

"Hi, dad." Everyone is in the dining area already. They woke up early because it is my first day in school and they are here for my moral support. This is what happens when you are the only young one here. All their attention are on me.

"Hi, my love. Excited?" My dad asked me.

"Not at all. Can I skip to college already? I don't like to be in the high school department." Everyone is boring the hell out of me.

"If you studied well, then you should have at least a chance to be accelerated before." This is my mom again always nagging about my studies.

'Fighting!' My dad mouthed me.

Sunny already messaged me that he is downstairs. I immediately put the sandwich in my mouth and stood up.

"Lyrics, etiquette." Bossmaam said. He is my sweet uncle.

"Bye, everyone! I need to go! Drink your maintenance oldies!" I ran to the elevator.

"Bae!" We call each other bae ever since.

"Let's go! We need to attend the orientation first." Sunny hugged me.

"How about we go to the cafe first before going to school? Nah? I am still hungry." I clung to his arm.

Surprisingly, I have a new set of bodyguards. Rock and Pao can't be replaced though.

Good looking bodyguards. Good job!

We went to the cafe first and arrived in the middle of the orientation. The speaker is boring.

Everyone is greeting me, and I am too tired to look at each of them. My bodyguards scattered around the gymnasium. They know the drill.

Can I just skip our first class? I am lazy.

I dragged Sunny outside the gym, but I was stopped by my bodyguard. This is my bodyguard number eight. I don't remember their names. I have twelve bodyguards every time I go out. They replaced four guards' earlier with newbies. All of them are young and top the admission exam.

This one aced it, but unfortunately, I hate him. He is stricter than my mom. He is very serious about his job. He never accepts bribes.
