After my little chat with Chris, and Bonnie returning from her walk we spent the afternoon together playing games with Grace and then we went back to my house where I helped Bonnie pack her things since she had to go back to Greece the morning after. The two of us talked about what I told Chris and she continued to say how happy she was for me.
Sunday morning I drive her to the airport and we shared a long goodbye hug knowing we won't see each other for another three/four months. Then once back home I cleaned the house and settled on the extremely in comfy couch I own and watch some tv while looking at some medicine books until my phone pinged.

Alright, time to figure out what to wear? Not a dress cause Boston it's too cold for that now, so I guess skinny jeans a pull over and a coat? Boots maybe? Once the outfit it's settled I cook myself a light dinner and check in with Bonnie before going to bed.
The next morning I take a nice hot shower, get dressed and get out of the house meeting Chris on the street. "Good morning neighbors!" I say hopping in his car "Hi Mia!" Grace says "Hi sweetie, are you excited for school?" "Yeah!" "How about you Chris?" "Less excited than she is but it's the right choice..." he says starting the car The drive to the school is not too long and we spend those few minutes singing Disney songs.
Once arrived Chris and I get out of the car and he helps grace out too. "Promise daddy you will be a good girl" he tells her as she is laying her head on his shoulder "I pwomise" "Good, ready?" "I wove you dada" "I love you too baby" he kisses her cheek one last time before handing her over to the teacher. I wave goodbye to her with a smile on my face and when I don't see her anymore I turn to Chris who's leaning against his car with his hands in his pockets "Are you ok?" "I know it's the best choice fo her but now that I don't have projects the house will feel empty in the mornings..." "Chris..." I say holding his hand "need a hug?" I say softly He nods his head so I hug him as close and tight as I can, gently rubbing his back "Thank you" he say after a minute, kissing my head "let's go get breakfast now beautiful!"

We decide to go up the mall and get Starbucks and then go around the shops

After enjoying our breakfast and talking a bit we head to target so Chris can get a few groceries and while we are there we decide to explore the kids clothes section "This is making me so mushy!" I say looking at all the cute little outfits "You like kids?" "What a question! I wouldn't be around Grace so much if I didn't!" "Stupid question..." "I absolutely adore kids, especially yours" I tell him "She's so cute and cuddly" he says "I agreee" "Oh look at this, do you think she'll like it?" He ask holding a little dress

"Awww" "Do you mind if I get it for her?" "It's not necessary but if you want I won't be opposed" "Thanks" We look around for another ten/fifteen minutes and then we go check out. Chris, seeing what time it is, directly drive me to the hospital. "So...how did this date go?" He asks as he parks the car "It was lovely" "Good. Want to do it again?" "A date with you?" "Yes" "Absolutely! Thank you for breakfast Chris!" "You are welcome" he says smile at me "I hope you have a good shift and message me when you are changing so I'll come get you" "Sure, bye" I give his cheek a kiss and he does the same. Once I'm out of his car I turn around and wave to him before walking in, he's there looking at me with the biggest smile on his face waving back to me.
