Oh gosh this is beautiful, you baked this?" He asks pulling me against him "Yup!" "Thank you so much baby" "You're welcome" I say smiling up at him "Love you!" "Love you too" He lightly kisses my lips before proceeding to cut the cake and I help by serving it

"Daddy, Tommy and I got this for you!" Grace says sitting on his lap after everyone finished eating the cake "Should I open it?" He asks "Yeah!" Tommy screams "Of course silly!" Grace tells him giggling "Ok, ok!" He carefully unwraps it and smiles when he sees what it his "It still got space for the twins!" Grace says "Dada wike?" Tommy asks "I do" he says kissing both kids heads "I love it!" He continues looking down at the framed hands and feet prints of the kids "Thank you both so much" he says grabbing Tommy from me before hugging them close to his chest "best present ever!"
In turns everyone gave him gifts and once all the wrapping paper was thrown in the bin and not left on the floor we decided to go in Lisa's backyard and play a bit. All the kids are running around playing fetch with dodger, well except for Tommy that is currently taking a nap on Chris's chest "It was a very nice lunch" "It was yes" he says looking at me and grabbing my hand "and the cake was delicious babe" "Happy you liked it" "Are these two behaving?" He asks gently stroking my belly "They have been for most of the day" "Good! We are already at thirty weeks..." "Yup, can't believe it. Almost time to meet them" "We should really discuss names..." "Almost forgot about that" I say making him laugh his beautiful laugh "and I still need to pack my hospital bag" "We'll do that tomorrow morning" "Oh I forgot to give you my gift..." I say reaching into my pocket "You didn't have to, I've had enough from you" he says meaning our wonderful kids I hand the little envelope to him "Not much but..." "Thanks" he says leaning a little to kiss my head "marching tattoos? I love this, can't wait!" "Just gonna have to wait a little after the girls are born" "We're in no rush, more time to decide what to do" he says leaning in again but this time kissing my lips.
A couple of hours later we drive back home and as the kids are watching a show Chris and I sit on the patio to watch the sunset. "Most romantic way to end my birth-day" "It is..."I whisper as I cuddle more into him Couldn't love him and this moment more!
