"Girls, we gotta go or we'll be late!" I shout from the front door after coming in from packing up the car "Coming!" I grab the last couple of things I know I'll might need during the day. Today is the Fourth of July and my mom organized a party at her place like every year for family and a few friends. Scott already came to pick up Bonnie and other few things between food and decorations while Mia Grace and I still need to go to the airport to pick up Seb and his mom and drive back to my mom. "Ok, we can go!" Mia says after making sure Grace is all buckled up The drive to the airport from my house is not so long but since today is the fourth there will be some traffic.
I hear my phone ping in my pocket when we are ten minutes away from the airport "Babe can you check who it is?" I ask Mia "Yeah" she grabs the phone from my pocket and puts in the code before opening the messages "it's Seb saying that they landed and are waiting for luggage" "Ok, text him we'll wait them outside" "Sure" "Dada I'm hungry" "I know baby girl, let's see if Mia has a little snack..." "Yup, here you go sweetie" "Thank you!" When we finally arrive at the airport Sebastian and his mom are already waiting for us. I get out of the car and meet them "Hey Georgeta, it's so good to see you again!" "Hi Christopher, it's been long!" "It has! Was the flight good?" "Smooth!" "Glad to hear that, hi Seb!" "Hi man!" We share a little bro hug and after I place their bags in my trunk I tell them to hop in. "Oh she's not little anymore" Georgeta says looking at Grace "Yeah...tell me that..." "That's Sebby's mom" I explain to Grace, she for sure doesn't remember her cause last time we met with Georgeta, Grace was only a few months old "and this is my lovely fiancée, Mia!" "Nice to meet you Georgeta" "You too, eşti foarte frumoasă!" (I hope that's correct guys...) "She told you you are very beautiful" Sebastian explains "Oh thank you, you are too!" "Sebastian I kinda have to ask you something..." "What is it?" "Would you be my groomsman?" "For real?" "Yes, for real" "Yes of course!" Seb says smiling big "Thanks man!" "Yeah, gosh this is exciting!" The journey to my mom was full of conversations and humming at the songs the radio passed.
We pull up in my ma's driveway where other cars are already parked. The front door is open and we all get in, announcing our presence is Grace screaming 'grandma!' as soon as he feet are in the house "Look who's here!" Shanna says coming to greet us and help with all the food and drinks bags we got in my car's trunk. I intrusive Sebastian and Gerogeta to the few people that have yet to meet them and then the party starts. Mia and I watch as Bonnie and Sebastian greet each other, a long hug is shared between the two and I look at Mia smirking "Yup, they're in love..." she says
After heading outside, everyone puts some food in their paper plates and sits somewhere in the backyard, all you can hear is kids screaming, people talking and some music in the background.

I'm sat with Mia on my lap and on my right there's Bonnie and Sebastian, while his mom is with mine. "So you two..." Mia starts "We...we're going on a date in on Saturday" Bonnie admits "And when we're you going to tell us?!" "Later?" Seb says "You punk!" I say lightly punching his shoulder "Sorry..." We keep on talking and mingle with other members of the family and friends, and thank god no one asks why Mia is drinking juice instead of beer, some because they know we're trying to get pregnant and obviously don't know we actually are, and others because they just don't notice.
The day transform into night and soon all the kids are placed in bed because they have fallen asleep, while us adults wait for the fireworks. "Guys ten minutes!" My mom announces Everyone grabs another drink, or some ice cream before sitting down again, eyes fixed on the sky waiting for the first bang.

Being in my moms house all day surrounded by friends and family made me so happy today, but it can't top yesterday...cause yesterday Mia had her first ultrasound and we were able to hear our baby's heartbeat, and let me tell you it was the most perfect sound I've ever heard!
