So anyways without further a do let's get started.

5. King K. Rool VS King Pig (Mario VS Angry Birds)

Now this one may seem strange on the surface but if you actually take a good look you would realize that this fight surprisingly works for each other and is a lot more thematic than most of K

Now this one may seem strange on the surface but if you actually take a good look you would realize that this fight surprisingly works for each other and is a lot more thematic than most of K. Rool's other matchups. But anyways let's get to the connections.

The connections between King K. Rool and King Pig is that both of them are greedy, big, fat, green, and goofy kings who are anthropomorphic animals who leads a group of villains (Kremling Krew and Bad Piggies, respectively) for goals that involves stealing something specific some food to eat (Bananas and Eggs, respectively) from heroic organizations who dedicated themselves to protecting something that was stolen (Kong Family and Angry Birds, respectively) which leads to an all out confrontation between them. Both are also the archenemies of the leaders of said organizations and the main protagonists (Donkey Kong and Red, respectively) and have repeatedly failed against them. They both have weird makeshift weapons that they use throughout their respective series.

When I first saw these connections I was totally shocked at how much it works well for each other even more so than K. Rool's other opponents such as Gruntilda, King Dedede, and ESPECIALLY Blackbeard. And it has a greater them to it too and I think their goofy personalities can definitely work off of each other, and as far as animation goes both have pretty unpredictable inventions that are strange yet can mesh well. Like it's pretty clear that this was the best matchup for both and honestly I do not understand why this wasn't even talked about seriously this is K. Rool's true matchup. How the Hell did Blackbeard all of the sudden become a popular when they have obviously NOTHING in common outside of being overweight pirates who are archenemies? K. Rool stealing bananas from Donkey Kong is not even remotely close to the light-darkness, yin-yang aspect Blackbeard has with Luffy as their relationship is described as a coin. Luffy on one side and Blackbeard on the other side, Luffy is Yang and Blackbeard is Yin, Blackbeard is literally Luffy who turned to the dark side, Blackbeard is someone who Luffy would've became. Both have different ideologies of how the world works, which is why they're relationship is something important than Donkey King and K. Rool's. The only thing Donkey Kong and K. Rool have is petty theft because Donkey Kong's bananas are always stolen by K. Rool there is no evidence of K. Rool being a dark reflection or Donkey Kong. On top of that K. Rool is a goofy villain whereas Blackbeard is an intelligent psychopath so their personalities simply don't work off each other. And I don't see how Blackbeard's Devil Fruit abilities can mesh well with K. Rool's arsenal like really you expect me to believe that a guy who has punching gloves, crown, and a small helicopter can mash well with a guy that steal powers create black holes and giant earthquakes? Ridiculous. Thankfully Blackbeard VS Shigaraki exists. They actually have connections that make sense, and it's a lot more thematic with both Blackbeard and Shigaraki having similar backstories and goals as well as personalities, and actually have light vs darkness/yin-yang/coin types relationships with the main protagonists (Luffy and Deku) due to being the protagonists dark reflection. And thankfully this exists for K. Rool. It's a really unique matchup and best for both.
