As the first light of dawn breaks, I find myself meandering through the familiar lanes of our subdivision. This early morning stroll has become an integral part of my daily routine, a tranquil moment of solitude before the day's hustle begins.

Last night, however, was a far cry from this peaceful morning. The girls and I decided to paint the town red, hoping to make the most of our last Friday before the academic grind resumes on Monday. But, to our dismay, the night didn't unfold as we had anticipated.

Rosie, usually the life of our group, was noticeably subdued. Her usual vibrant energy was replaced with a somber silence that hung over us like a dark cloud. Nayeon and Sana shared the news. Rosie was still reeling from the abrupt departure of her ex-girlfriend, who had left her without so much as a goodbye or an explanation.

The pain was evident in her eyes, a silent cry for help that we couldn't ignore. We had seen her at her lowest, teetering on the edge of despair, contemplating the unthinkable. But we stood by her, a protective shield against the harsh blows of life.

Now, with the news of her ex's impending return after a two-year absence, we are on high alert. We won't let history repeat itself. We won't let Rosie face this storm alone. We are her fortress, her sanctuary, and we will do everything in our power to protect her.

Pausing my morning stroll, I found solace in a nearby park, intending to catch my breath and hydrate. As I reached for my water bottle, an eerie sensation crept up my spine. It felt as though unseen eyes were boring into my back, an unsettling presence lurking just out of sight.

I spun around, expecting to confront the source of this discomfort, but found nothing but the empty park behind me. The unsettling feeling persisted, a phantom gaze that sent chills down my spine. I tried to dismiss it as a figment of my imagination, but the sensation was too real to ignore.

With a quickened pace, I made my way back to the safety of our mansion, the unsettling feeling trailing behind me. I resolved to discuss this with the subdivision's security guards later. The thought of an unseen observer, a potential stalker, lurking in the shadows was deeply unnerving
