Bed Rest

Aaron's POV
You wake up to the alarm going off. You slowly turn off the alarm as you rub your eyes. When you look at the other side of the bed, you see Emily was gone. You jump out of bed in panic and quickly check the house. You find her head in the toilet bowl.

You run over and sit down next to her as you rub her back while she finishes throwing up. She finishes throwing up and leans on your chest for support clearly exhausted. "It's okay" you said as you rub her arm. You pick her up and carry her back to the bedroom. You place her down in the bed and bring the trash bag over.

"Aaron, I have to get ready for work" she says frustrated. "Oh no Emily, you are not leaving this bed until your next doctors appointment." you say as she crosses her arms. "And what about work, am I supposed to just not do it?" "I think your boss will allow you a week off" you say with a wink. This causes her to smile slightly. Even though she was mad, she couldn't help but find it the tiniest bit funny.

You start getting dressed into you work clothes. "What do you want for breakfast?" "Whipped cream" she says with an annoyed expression. "On toast or a bagel or pancakes" "you have pancakes?" she asks as you laugh. "Whipped cream on pancakes coming right up" you say with a smile as you head to the kitchen. You make pancakes and give them to Emily as she smiles. "Thank you so much" she says as she starts digging right in. "Oh my goodness these are so good" she groans as she takes another bite. You hand her a glass of water and another pill. She looks at you before she agrees to take it.

"Please call me if you need anything. I mean anything. You will not be an inconvenience-trust me!" She looks at you as she makes eye contact. She nods as you go over and kiss her cheek. "Thank you" she says softly.

Emily's POV
Aaron left you so you just went on your phone and scrolled through your phone. You were dying of boredom. After 2 hours you call Garcia. "Hey Penelope" "Why hello there Emily. How are you?" "I'm good, just very bored" you say. "I'm sorry, hopefully you can be back next week!" Garcia says all peppy. "About that..." "what?" She asks confused.

"What if you send me some files now. To help my workload so I can do less work next week" you say trying to sound convincing. "nope, I've been put under strict instructions to make sure that you do no work whatsoever" "Garcia please!!" you plead. "You know Hotch won't let me" "fine" you huff. "Oh and just know that Hotch knows all about this call" "Penelope NO" you shout. "Hey Emily" you hear Aaron's voice. "Oh god" you say as you roll your eyes.

"I'm finishing my last file and then I'm coming back home" he says as you couldn't help but smile. "Aaron I'm fine, don't worry" "I'll see you soon" he says before you could hear his footsteps as he walks out of the room. "Penelope, really?" "I'm sorry he made me promise" "fine" you say before hanging up.

You go take a nap before you wake up to the sound of the front door opening up. You slowly rub your eyes as Aaron walks through the bedroom door. "Hey Em how are you?" he asked carefully as he took off his tie. "Come to bed" you say. "Let me get changed first" he says as he quickly slips off his work clothes and slips back into his pyjamas. He hops into bed as you snuggle up to him.

You woke up later to find Aaron awake but still snuggling up to you. You roll around so that you face him. "Oh you're up" he says with a smile. You nod "thank you" you say smiling back. He leans in and give you a soft kiss on the lips. You felt the butterflies in your stomach exploding as he did that. You snuggle up back to him before you hear your phone ping. You go to try and grab it as Aaron grabs your phone for you. He hands it to you as you thank him. You see that you got a text from Ali.

"Hey Em, how are you feeling?" she asks. "Good" you respond. "Someone just cancelled their appointment for today at 3 if you want to go?"' "Yes please!!!" You send before you show Aaron with excitement. "Perfect" he says as he pulls you back in and you cuddle with him before falling asleep again. Man does pregnancy make you tired.
