April x Donnie - oneshots Vol.1

Mission: Date

Synopsis: April (23) Donnie (21), are on a mission, to sneak into an exclusive Yokai party, the host is unknown, but the two know that there is something more there.

Donnie and April were inside the turtle tank, the brunette was wearing a long, yellow dress with a covered neck. Donnie wore a purple suit, to be more exact what he wore that time with the montages.April sighed, she liked hanging out with the boys, but she was tired, and she hated wearing high heels, which that particular night she was wearing.

"Look, you don't have to participate if you don't want to." Donnie said ruffling his tie.
"But I would love you there with me." He thought.

"No...No, I don't, but I have a full head today." She said showing the phone.

"Does he keep bothering you?" Donnie asked, his blood heating up.

"Dee, don't worry, it's just a jealous ex." She said hanging up the phone "Let's go inside and beat some bad guys."

Donnie got out of the car to open the door for April, not that it was necessary, but he wanted to be nice.In his head he kept repeating, "This is NOT a date. We're on a mission."

But the moment he saw April in that dress he wanted to hug her and kiss her and take her somewhere nice. It had been a while, but Donnie had a huge crush on April, he managed to hide it from Raph and Leo, but Shelldon told Mikey. Which he threatened to kill if he let out a peep.

When they entered, they were given masks, luckily April's looked like a yokai, and Donnie managed to blend in well.

April spent most of the night next to Donnie, she didn't want to say something wrong, but she didn't want to lose sight of him either.

And she would hug his arm whenever she saw some woman or man showing interest in him. Obviously people who didn't identify with any gender didn't even want to get close to the two, they did have good taste.

"Ladies, gentlemen and friends, please welcome our beloved hostess, the most well-known spider yokai, Lady Big Mama."

A butler announced, and shortly after the announcement appeared behind him.The Yokai appeared in its original form, but then it was the human form, as soon as the entire room was silent, she smiled.

As soon as Donnie saw Big Mama he tipped the glass of wine being poured. April just glared at the Yokai.

"Oh my lovely guests..." She said as she opened her arms "How glad I am that everyone is here. We all know what's about to happen, but why not remember it?" She said in mid-laugh, "The battle Nexus will take place tonight, and betting won't be open for an hour..." Several of those Yokais who were there shouted in joy.

April pulled Donnie into a nearby closet, and the two started talking.

"We're not going to stay here, are we?" Donnie asked pushing someone's coat away from their face.

"We're staying here until Big Mama leaves that room or finds something to help us blend in." She said, looking through some coats. "Like that brooch Sunita has."

When she finished speaking, they both heard the sound of metal falling. Donnie lifted his mask and saw two brooches, yes some Yokais had taken them, but he was told at the entrance that it was forbidden to enter with one of those pins at the event.

April picked them up off the floor and put one on Donnie. When April put on the brooch she resembled a fox Yokai. Donnie smiled, it was distinctive enough.
