"It took me awhile to come back to you because a lot of things happened when I went home with my family"

I just stared at him. Sa loob ng limang taon lagi ko iniisip kung ano ang gagawin ko kapag bumalik na si Asher.

At nandito lang ako, nakatingin sa kanya habang siya ay nagsasalita.

"I'm sorry if I cut ties with you. Going home hindi ko alam kung may babalikan pa ba ako but I'm glad that you wait for me"

I smiled. "You waited for me that time. So I think I need to wait for you too. I know you'll come back for me. Thank you for staying healthy and coming back to me, Asher"

There are no words to explain how happy I am now that I got to hold Asher in my arms.

"I love you when you're still 18 and until now." He said and held my face.

"I missed you so much."

I hugged him. "I love you too and I miss you so much, Asher."

"Akala ko na di kana babalik ah!" Panunukso ni Penelope kay Asher.

"Stop frowning. Baka nakasimangot na lumabas yung anak mo" pang aasar sa kanya ni Asher.

"Ibubugaw ko na sana sa iba si Rana e"

Asher pulled me closer to him "No. That won't happen"

"Ay ang sakit niyo sa mata"

I chuckled. No matter how many years will pass, I know Penelope will remain my friend. My one and only friend.

"Aren't you tired, Asher?"

"Have you heard? Umuwi na din si Brielle with Alexander and their daughter."

It was sad that Kuya Liam didn't get to marry his first love. I know how painful it is for him. I've seen him break down every night and cry.

I couldn't hate Brielle and Ciella. They are all victims.

"I heard. I didn't tell Kuya Liam. Baka mag away pa sila ni ate Ciella."

"Do you think he's happy?"

"He's not and he have no choice"

"I always want him to end up with Brielle because I know how much they love each other but things happened."

How can I let him read it when all my hatred towards him was written in that diary.

"Nakasulat siguro lahat don ang mga crush mo"

Natatawa akong tumingin sa kanya "Tigilan mo nga ako, Asher. Ang tanda mo na"

"Matanda na nga, oras na siguro para pakasalan kita"

Hindi agad ako naka sagot dahil pakiramdam ko pulang pula ang aking mukha.

"Hindi mo pa nga ako niligawan"

"Kailangan pa ba yon? I can court you for the rest of our lives, just add my last name in your name"

Living in another country for almost 5 years changed Asher. Hindi naman siya ganito ka daldal noon but looking at him right now

He smiled. "Kahit hindi mo sabihin alam ko kung gaano ka inlove sa akin"

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, Asher"

"Baka nakakalimutan mo na ikaw nga tong sumunod pa sa akin sa Paris to confess your feelings"

He chuckled. "Cringe isn't it?
