POV (Y/n)

-Day 11 in the Scorch-

While we drove toward where Marcus had said the right arm was I was silent. Although the car was incredible and I wanted to marvel along with the others, they went quiet every time I spoke. The only ones who seemed unbothered were Brenda and Jorge, and although I was thankful for them they weren't the ones who I would die to protect. Yet, they seemed to be making their way onto the list. We drove until the car couldn't fit on the stretch of road in front of us to many other cars blocking the way.

We all exited the car and looked at the path "I guess we're on foot," Jorge said and I nodded at the path ahead. As we walked our eyes looked out to the mountains surrounding us, but there was nothing but mountains as far as I could tell. I must not have been looking hard enough because then shots were being fired all around us. I grab Thomas and pull him behind care with Jorge and me. "Take cover!" I call out to the others and silently wish for the gun Winston had lost. When the gunfire went quiet I was nervous unsure of what that meant.

"Hey, is everyone okay out there?" Thomas shouted out to the others as I try to steal a glance at them through the dirty glass of the car window. "We're fine!" Teresa calls out and I can barely make her out through the dirty glass "Anyone know where those bloody shots came from?" Newt calls and my eyes dart to the mountains trying to see something, but just like before nothing can be seen. "That son of a bitch, Marcus. He led us into an ambush," Jorge said angrily as he reached into his jacket when Thomas looks over the hood I pull him back violently.

It sounds like just in time as a bullet makes contact where Thomas's head was moments ago. "Are you stupid?" I ask him and he shakes his head "what else are we supposed to do?" he asks and I furrow my brows "not that," I tell him, and Jorge hands Thomas an explosive. "Here, hold this," he says as he puts his gloves back on. "We gotta create a diversion. You get ready to chuck it," he says as he flips the detonator getting ready to use it.

"Everybody! Get set to sprint back to the truck! And hold your ears!" Jorge shouts to them and then he makes eye contact with Thomas "Ready? One..Two..." he starts but we're pulled out of our thoughts by the sound of a gun cocking "drop it!" a woman's voice orders causing them to stop their plan. "On your feet, let's go," she continues to order and we do as she says, not having much of a choice since she and another girl have a rifle pointed at our chests. "Let's go! Move!" she shouts as we back up joining the rest of the group.

They bark loud orders at us until their eyes fall on Aris and they stop staring at him for a long second. "Aris?" one asks her gun dropping as she looks at him, and when she pulls her mask down realization covers his face "Oh, my God. Harriet?" he asks moving to her in quick steps, and she does the same bringing him into a hug. "My God. What the hell are you doing here?" and then Aris greet the other girl "Sonya," he says before hugging her as well. "Aris, you're lucky we didn't shoot your dumb ass," she says and they all smile widely during the reunion and I can't help but be jealous at the scene.

"Uh... What's happening?" Minho asks obliviously "we were in the maze together," Aris explains with a wide smile and I feel my heart ache with want. Harriett moves away from Aris and whistles loudly over the mountains "we're clear, guys come on out!" She calls and I watch as I can see the many gunmen on the mountains, and we follow Harriett and Sonya away from the area. "We're taking them to base," Harriett says to some men as we pass "wait, so, how did you guys get here?" Aris asks as we continue to follow.

"The Right Arm for us out," she states and Thomas jogs up to her "wait, wait, the right arm? Do you know where they are?" he asks and I smack the back of his head lightly "you slithead, she's apart of them," I say as Harriett opens the door to a large vehicle "hop in," she says and we don't hesitate. She drives us to a camp that is smaller than expected but it causes me to smile anyways. The Right Arm.
