Hey, I'm back!

I'm not sure where I'm going with this chapter, but Fitz needed some character development, so... I just randomly threw him in and hoped it would work out.😅

But anyway, it's chapter 30!!

So one thing (or two I guess) before the chapter.

1:

I'm thinking about writing another fanfiction, and I'm torn between Assassination Classroom, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and Genshin Impact.

Or maybe a crossover of two of them??

Anyway, if you have any preferences, please let me know.

2:

This is a technical question about Wattpad. How do I post messages on my profile?? Like I see some people posting general messages that aren't for anyone in particular, like about their books and stuff.

Yeah, I actually don't know how to do that.😅

Also, the battle clothes Fitz and Sophie receive are like the gear E-Class has in Assassination Classroom.

Anyway, sorry to keep you.

Happy reading!

Sophie sighed, slumping over her desk. Her head brushed against her coffee cup, which tilted, threatening to fall over and spill its contents over the blueprint spread across the table.

She looked at her office, examining her shelves full of books and files.

The room was medium-sized, made up of built in bookshelves and a soft carpeted floor. There was a door at the far end of the room that led to the corridor, and another door to her right, which led to a private room.

She had been spending a lot of time in her office lately, sorting through paperwork and sifting through her thoughts.

She'd been thinking a lot lately.

A glance at the clock told her it was 1AM—definitely time to go home.

But before that . . .

Sophie lifted her head and ran her finger down the blueprint, glancing through the floors of the Phoenix headquarters.

The building curved in a cylinder shape, and was made up of seven floors. Only the top floor protruded from the surface of the ocean, the rest submerged as if the complex was a giant iceberg.

The first floor—the bottom floor—was a control center, used for piloting the headquarters around if necessary, or basically just changing the lighting and temperature in different rooms.

The second floor was filled with training rooms of all sizes, and also housed both the stadium and the holographic Rank Wars room. Some parts of the ceiling—meaning the floor of the third level—were cut out to make certain training rooms taller.

The third floor was entirely made up of offices and meeting rooms. There were a lot of the former, since everyone with the rank of captain and above received their own private offices.

The fourth floor housed laboratories and a large gadgets room filled with cool stuff you could borrow and use.

The fifth floor was easily the most boring—it was packed full of files and records.

The sixth floor was allocated to the dining hall and several kitchens of various sizes. (Sophie found it heartwarming that despite each agent having their own houses on the seventh floor, they still gathered together to eat most of their meals.)
