Truth be told, William should've half expected something like this, as he stares at the other three Egg Bearers that seemed to have caught up to what he was planning to do.

William: ...

Awkward silence fills the air.

Aurora: Trying to ascertain him without us, eh?

She asks, confusing William as he opens his mouth.

William: Without you?

William questions.

Aurora: Come on, you know all of us are equally as interested in that demon lord as you.

She explains with a small smirk, as William has his head down.

Keir: Why didn't you tell us?

She asks him.

William: I don't wish to involve you guys in this...

William says whilst grabbing his left shoulder with his right hand, earning confused looks from everyone.

Kairos: Not get us involved?

Kairos questions.

William: Truth be told, since I was going to go ascertain Rimuru Tempest, I didn't want you guys to come with me for fear he might go mad when he sees me...

Silence envelops, followed by three people laughing lightly.

William: What's so funny?

He asks irritated.

Keir: Didn't know you cared for us this much, William.

The first to stop laughing a little.

Kairos: But you do realize who we are, right?

Kairos says as all of their expressions turn serious.

Aurora: We are Egg Bearers, just like you, and your the weakest out of all of us.

William finally looks up at them.

Keir: We wouldn't forgive ourselves if the weakest of us went and died, whilst we the stronger ones, sit back and do nothing.

Keir finishes for them all, holding a smile of happiness.

Kairos: Plus, it's been so long since I've had a fight!

Kairos punches his fists together, as a battle hungry look forms on his face.

William: ...

Truth be told, he really is the weakest but smartest out of all of them. A light chuckle escapes his mouth.

William: Your guys are fools...

William looks up into the sky, as all of them scream an "EHHHHHH?"

William: Very well then!

William starts walking towards them.

William: Let's go and see if this Rimuru guy is a threat or not!

He raises his hand, clenching it into a fist with a smile. It is to be noted that a huge "WOHOOOOO" was heard in a part of Ruberious.

Meanwhile

Rimuru coughs as he flies.
