Jisung side eyed the boy beside him for a moment before he sighed and faced him, setting his coffee down.

"We've discussed this, my love."

Minho pouted, "sorry. I-I know i said i would stop bringing it up but I just.." His eyes fell to scan the rug in their living room, "it still hurts, you know? And not knowing why it happened is scary."

The younger boy scanned him for a moment before he reached out to his boyfriends hand that was in his lap, gently holding it.

"I can't believe what I'm about to admit, uh.." He rested his head on Minho's shoulder, burying himself there out of embarrassment.

Minho let him stay there as long as he pleased, using his free hand to pet the boys soft hair while he waited.

Jisung backed up after a few minutes and cupped the elders cheek, gently making the boy lock eyes with him.

"You know I love you more than anything, right?" Minho looked lost but slowly nodded, "I-" the blonde huffed, "I know I've fucked up, I've fucked up bad. I've done it so much, I've treated you like shit and I know i absolutely do not deserve you.." he trailed off for a moment, scanning the elders features.

Minho silently willed him to continue.

"I dont deserve you, whatsoever," Jisung whispered, though it was more to himself. "But.. But I..."

His hand fell and he reached for his portable safe that he kept beside the couch, grabbing out the key and avoiding Minho's confused stare.

"You know how, uh- when we would go shopping there was this uh.. this thing you kept looking at?"

Minhos head tilted.

"I'm always focused on you though.. Are you a thing?"

The blonde flushed a light pink, Minho smiling a little proudly to himself as he tucked a strand of loose hair behind Jisungs ear.

"That's not- anyways. No, not- not me."

The older boy stared blankly, trying to rack his brain for something he had admired but being able to come up with nothing of the sort. Curse his memory.

Jisung laughed to himself, slowly sliding off of their couch as he put his safe back. He stayed on the floor, resting his head against Minhos leg for a few moments, his eyes closing.

"Hannie?"

The blonde stayed there for a while, basking in Minho's warmth as he willed his now racing heart to calm down. He just wished Minho couldn't somehow feel it, with how it felt like his heart would burst out of his chest any second.

Once he finally managed to get his heart back to a more decent pace, he placed a small kiss on Minho's knee before he opened his eyes and stood up in front of him, grabbing his hand again.

"H-Hannie? Are you okay?" The elder asked, more persistent this time, staring up at the boy with wide, confused eyes.

"I understand if this is sudden and all given the situation," he started. "Honestly, I- you dont even have to give me an answer if you're not ready.. And if you do happen to give one, I get it if you say no."

Minho watched as Jisung slowly got back down, hands still together, but there was something different.

Jisung was kneeling now.

On one knee.

The elder processed the stance slowly, mouth opening again - but nothing would come out.

"She was paying me," Jisung repeated his reasoning behind everything yet again, voice almost a whisper.

"I wanted to propose."

Minho's brain seemed to short circuit for a moment, staring blankly at the boy in front of him, mouth still slightly open in shock.

Jisung looked down, pressing a kiss against his boyfriends knuckles. "I wanted to propose so, so bad. But I didn't have enough money for the ring you were always looking at when we passed the store." His eyes closed again - another attempt at calming himself.

"Jisung.."

"It's ridiculous, isn't it?" He laughed at himself, not moving from his position nor bothering to open his eyes.

He was so embarrassed.

"I just wanted to get the pretty ring for my pretty boyfriend and I..." He inhaled sharply once, exhaling slowly after a moment. "I'm sorry. No amount of apologies can fix what I did, I know. You probably haven't even forgiven me yet anyway," he sighed again, finally lifting his head up to look at the elder.

"If one day, by some miracle, you decide to forgive me or- or something, anything -" he paused, bringing out a small white box and opening it with his free hand.

Minho covered his mouth with his free hand when he saw it was in fact the ring he'd been eyeing.

"If you would like - whenever you're ready, of course i.." Jisung blinked repeatedly, deciding it wasnt a good time to close his eyes.

"Would you marry me, Lee Minho?"
