Chapter 20

Manik was sitting in the living room waiting for arjun eagerly, laksh has already left for his house.

After waiting for arjun for more then a hour he heard sound of arjun car, immediately stand from his place and looked at the door.

Arjun came inside the house before manik can call out for him he left from their making manik confused.

Manik:"Bhai ko kya hua". Manik said in a slight sad and hurt tone.

Since the time manik came here, Arjun make sure to spend enough time with him, Coming home early from work so manik wouldn't feel alone, he got so used to arjun attention, his love and care now all of sudden arjun ignorance dosent settle his heart.

He felt like his bhai is tired from him now and don't need him anymore.

Thinking about this tears formed in his innocent eyes.

He took out his phone and dial rohit number.

ON THE PHONE CALL:-

Rohit:"Hello kiddo".

Manik:"Hello ro". Manik said sadly and rohit becomes worried hearing his sad tone.

Rohit:"Kiddo kya hua tu theak to haina itna low kyun sound kar rahan hain, tere tabyath toh theak haina koi nightmare toh nahi dheka yeah kisi na tujhe kuch bolo, bata na kiddo kya hua??". Rohit said in one breathe making manik eyes wide.

Manik:"Ro mein bilkul theak hon don't worry, baat kuch aur hain". Manik said make rohit relief.

Rohit:"Dara diya tha tuna kiddo chal wo sab chor aur bata kya hua kyun itna sad sound kar raha hain?". Rohit ask softly.

Manik:"Ro wo na bhai ignored me". Rohit got shocked hearing manik.

As much as rohit heard about Arjun Rawte from manik or laksh he understood only one thing that the man loves his kiddo way too much.

He can't believe that the man can do anything which could hurt his kiddo, he have a strong believe that his kiddo again do the thing for which he is famous for overthinking.

Rohit:"Kiddo tujhe kaisa pata ka he ignore you, hosakta unho na tujhe dheka na ho". Rohit said calmly in a manner to make him understand but manik shook his head.

Manik:"Nahi ro unho na mujhe dheka tha aur mujhe ignore kardiya I think ro he got tired from me and now he no more needs me, aur waisa bhi kyun nahi honga tired mein hon hi itna manhoos (badluck)".

Before rohit could give manik a piece of mind a strong voice from behind shout his name making him flinched.

"Manik!" Arjun loud voice echoed in the whole mansion sending shiver to everyone.

Manik looked at arjun meekly step back when he saw arjun taking a dangerous step towards him.

Arjun hold manik arm in a tight grip making the latter hissed in pain, without paying any head to manik arjun snatch the phone from manik hand and say.

Arjun:"Rohit beta he will call you later". And without any reply from rohit he cut the call throwing his mobile on couch.

Manik:"Bhaiya". Manik say but received a death glare from him.

Arjun held manik ear in a tight grip and twisted it hard.

"Toh Mr Manik Malhotra kya kah rahe the aap maine sahi se suna nahin apne alfaazon (words) ko dobara dohrane ka kasht karenge aap". Arjun said while twisting his ear more.

"Ouch bhai bohut dard horah please chor do na". Manik pleaded but arjun just smile at him.

"Then I am doing a pretty good job at it manik, and this is not the answer of my question". Arjun said twisting his ear more.
