Chapter 21

Manik was sulking sitting on the bed with crossed legs and chin on the hand and with other hand writing lines. Looking at arjun with an angry and irritated pout.

Manik stared at arjun with puppy eyes trying his best to melt him. It's a magic trick which work on anyone, he used this trick many time on rohit and rohit always used to melt even after knowing he is doing drama.

Arjun refused to give glance to his little bean, very well aware he was staring at him.

Arjun:"I know what's going inside your little brain so it would be better for you to stop using your brain and concentrate on your punishment and think what wrong you did, instead of wasting time". Arjun said making manik sulk even more.

Manik:"Bhaii!! I know what wrong I did and I am really very sorry for that, I promise ajj ka baad kabhi apna apko bad luck nahi bologna aur kabhi apka bina cooking nahi karunga, plomise". Manik said with an innocent look.

Arjun just shook his head and say.

Arjun:"Mr.Malhotra it would be better for you to concentrate on completing your punishment with your mouth shut or I wouldn't hesitate to add more". Arjun said in firm tone making manik shut.

Manik looked at arjun who was working seriously on something. Manik pouted as he is not giving him any attention. It's not acceptable not at all.

He kept his notebook aside make his way toward arjun. Standing infront of him a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

Without waiting any second manik snatch arjun laptop.

Arjun who was working on a presentation seriously got startled when manik snatch his laptop. Before arjun could react manik run away showing his tongue in a teasing way.

Arjun:"Mannu ruk kahan bhag (run) raha hain?".  Arjun ask while chasing him.

Manik:"Aryy phela pakro (caught) toh sahi phir puchne". Manik said and run out of the room.

Manik:"Nahi pakad paoge". Manik said.

Arjun eyes widened when he saw manik running towards the stairs. Not having any other option he shout.

Arjun:"Manik stop". Arjun order him.

Manik stopped in his tracks after hearing arjun's loud and scary voice.

Manik looked at arjun in fear and slight  tears in his eyes.

Arjun took large steps toward manik and immediately pulled him in his embrace. Relaxing his pounding heart.

Manik sensed arjun feared felt bad hug him back. After few minutes arjun broke the hug and looked at manik with concern.

Arjun(worriedly):"Mannu bacha tu theak haina, chot tho nahi aye". Arjun asked.

Manik:"Bhai mein bilkul theak hon dheko mujhe kuch nahi hua". Manik assured him arjun nodded his head.

Soon arjun facial face expression change from concern to stern/angry.

Manik gulped looking at arjun facial expression. Very well knowing what going to happen next.

Arjun held manik ear in a tight grip and drag him inside the room.

Arjun:"Kya karna ja raha tha tum manik?". Arjun asked in a stern tone making manik cringed back.

Manik:"I am sorry bhai, mujhe apka laptop leka nahi bhagana chahiye tha" Manik said which just add fuel in arjun's anger.

Arjun:"Seriously manik you really think I shout at you because you snatch my laptop and run away you idiot han.

I shout at you because you are going to run on stairs, which is dangerous you could got slip chot lag jate tumhe aur tumhe lagta hain I shout at you because tum mera laptop leka bhaga you idiot". Arjun said in a strong loud and scary voice which make manik shiver in fear.

Manik:"I am sorry bhai mujhe bhag ta hua pata hi nahi chala ka mein stair ke taraf (direction) ga raha hon". Manik apologized while holding his ears.

Arjun looked at manik who is looking absolutely innocent and adorable while holding his ears. He was so close to melt but control himself.

Arjun:"Fifty sit ups aur sath mein you have to say ka you are not going to run on the stairs anymore". Arjun ordered manik in his commissioner voice.

Manik:"Bhai mein bacha nahi hon". Manik said and arjun raised his eye brows at him.

Arjun:"Theak hain phir ruko". Arjun said and went toward his wardrobe take out a ruler.

After seeing ruler in arjun hands manik choked in air, immediately get hold on his ears and start doing sit ups.

Manik after completing his punishment looked at arjun with teary eyes🥺🥺 and arjun immediately took him in his arms.

Manik start sobbing. Arjun sits on the couch and make manik sit on his lap. Manik just simply hide his face in arjun chest still sobbing.

Arjun:"Bas bacha runa band kar tabyath kharab hogaye ga". Arjun say buy manik just sob more.

Manik:"App bohut ganda hon apna mannu se sit ups karaye na kattie". His voice got muffled against arjun chest but arjun understood what he is trying saying.

Arjun:"Acha toh kya mannu ke koi galti nahi agar mannu ko kuch hoga ta toh".
Arjun said and manik looked at arjun with a pout.

Manik:"Mannu ko kuch nahi hosakta jab tak uska bhai uska sath hain". Manik said innocently making arjun heart warm with love.

Arjun caress manik head lovingly and say.

Arjun:"Hain mannu jab tak tera yeh bhai tera sath hai tera koi bal bhi baka nahi kar sakta, par iska yeh matlab bilkul nahi ka tum apna khayal na rakho agar dobara aisa kiya I will punish you again". Arjun said in a firm voice manik just nodded his head and hug him again.

Arjun hug him back calming his heart which was beating like it would came out of his ribcage earlier.

Manik kept his head on arjun chest closed his eyes against the tears. Arjun every single action for him just scream protectiveness.
