Chapter 41

VYRLLE was waiting for Light to finish. Her brother let his boyfriend borrow his unused clothes. Sa banyo ng kwarto nila ni Rayos niya ito pinaligo. Ni hindi nga ito nakapagmano sa magulang nila dahil sa amoy nito. Just like what her sister-in-law said, they stinks.

"Still alive, Luca?" Vyrlle asked. Nawawalan na ng pasensya na maghintay.

The bathroom's door open and Light came out. Basa pa ang buhok nito. Her eyes scanned his whole body, suot na nito agad ang damit na binigay ng kapatid niya.

"I'm still alive and kicking, ma'am." Light playfully answered. Bahagya itong yumuko at hinalikan ang tungki ng ilong niya. "Welcome home, sunshine," he whispered huskily.

Sumulyap si Vyrlle sa pintuan. Iniwan niya 'yon na nakabukas para hindi ma paranoid ang Daddy niya. She's now an adult. Yet, their brother and father always treat them like a kid.

"Naninibago ako," he chuckled. "Hindi ako sanay na nakikita kita dito sa sarili niyong bahay." Light added.

She scoffed. Sa tagal niya na hindi umuwi at hindi nagpapakita rito. Malamang ay maninibago talaga ito.

Pagkauwi niya, kahit siya ay nanibago. Pero habang tumatagal, she feels better. Maybe because she's finally home. Happiness swelled in her heart, it completes her. Gusto niya na umiyak nang mayakap ang Daddy niya. She missed his warm and the way he spoiled her and Rayos.

Bumalik lahat ng 'yon sa kanya.

"Dito ka ba muna? Mukhang mapapadalas ang dalaw ko ah?" Light asked.

Vyrlle shook her head. "We're not going to stay here… Vystrelle and I… sayo kami uuwi." She answered.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Light at tumaas ang dalawang kilay nito sa kanya. His lips parted. Hindi makapaniwala sa naging sagot niya.

"Sa akin?" Itinuro nito ang sarili. Tumango lang siya bilang sagot. "What about your father? Yung kapatid mo? Pumayag ba? Anong sabi?" Kinakabahan na tanong nito.

Vyrlle clicked her tongue. It's actually fun watching him panic.

"Pumayag. Wala naman magagawa si Kuya, pumayag si Dad." Vyrlle nonchalantly answered.

Besides, if ever na kumontra ang kapatid niya. She has Isabella — her sister-in-law, in her side. Sigurado na makokontrol nito ang pagka-overprotective ng Kuya nila.

Light played with his lips and avoided her gaze.

"Sa bahay mo tayo?" Vyrlle asked.

Iritado na bumaling sa kanya si Light. Natawa siya sa inasal nito. She knew what's on his mind. Ayaw siya nito na iuwi doon dahil dati 'yong bahay nilang dalawa ni Vyel. That house was filled of their memories together.

She's jealous. But at the same time, she doesn't really care. It was in their nature to leave what happened in the past.

"We can stay at my sister's condo…" Light suggested. "I'm sorry. I feel like I'm being disrespectful if doon kita patutuluyin. I don't have any feelings for Vyel, just to clear up things… I don't know. I just…" Huminga ito ng malalim.

Vyrlle smiled and patted his shoulder. "Okay, we'll stay at your sister's place."

"You're not mad?" Light asked.

"No, I understand." She answered.

"I'm sorry…" Light uttered and locked her in his arms. Vyrlle just hummed and wrapped her arms around him.

They stayed in that position for a minute. Enjoying each other's body warmth. Not until her brother entered the picture and threw a damn pillow on Light's face. Muntik pa siya na matamaan dahil doon, mabuti na lang at mabilis 'yon na nasalag ni Light.
