heeseung pov

she's close to beomgyu? i never noticed that.

i take another sip of my drink looking at my surroundings.

there's too many people... it feels crowded.

taking the last sip of my drink, i decide that i need a refill. going over to that area, i spot y/n getting a drink but someone suddenly approaches her so i stay put.

that girl seems to have bad intentions towards y/n...

frowning, i take big steps to get to y/n faster but the mystery girl was already gone.

"who was that?" i ask y/n once i get beside her.

she's a little shocked to hear my voice beside her but relaxes once she sees that it's just me.

"just... someone i used to know" she gives me a fake smile and walks off with wonyoung.

"someone she used to know?" i whisper to myself.

"heeseung" sunghoon calls out to me.

"yeah?" i reply to him.

"have you seen wonyoung?" he asks seeming a little nervous.

"she was just here a couple minutes ago, what's up?" i question him.

"nothing, i just had to ask her something" he says.

"oh okay. maybe if you go over there you'll find her" i point in the direction where y/n and wonyoung left.

"thanks" he pats my shoulder and leaves.

i refill my drink and stand close to a wall.

"hey" the girl who approached y/n earlier comes up to me.

she looks like trouble...

"hello" i greet back not really wanting to start a conversation with her.

"i've heard about you" she continues.

"okay..." i couldn't care less.

"i know about your parents too" she mentions innocently.

"who are you?" i glare at her now.

"the name's yuna" she gives me a smile.

"what do you want?"

"you'll find out later" she says and walks away.

another nuisance. i can't just live in peace, can't i?

i should probably watch out for y/n, yuna might do something-

wait, why do i care so much? it's really none of my business.

i guess since i'm her 'boyfriend' i should still keep a lookout.

y/n pov

"jake!" i shout at him.

wonyoung left me after sunghoon came to us and said he needed to talk to her. so i just walked around the place by myself until i spotted a familiar face.

"y/n! you having fun?" he gives me a contagious smile making me smile back at him.

"yeah, i never thought i'd be into parties but this seems chill" i give a thumbs up and he chuckles.

"wanna go outside for a little bit? it's getting hot in here" he offers.

"sure, let's go" i agree.

"i'm surprised you're not with heeseung or wonyoung" he says after we're situated outside.
