“Kat! Let's eat na!” I got interrupted from my deep thought when suddenly Luna shouted, she's in the dining.
There's so many things that happened last week but still fresh on my mind, I was so guilty and everyday ko ring pinagsisihan ang pag-accept ko ng offer ni Ms. Claudia. If i didn't accepted that, worst things wouldn't happened but mas lamang pa rin ang pagiging grateful ko. Because, i got the chance to know her. I witnessed her adorable sides na hindi alam ng iba.
Well, i have to admit that i missed her already. It's been what? six days? I was the one who left the company, after that night pagkauwi ko palang, I made a resignation paper and I respectfully accepted Min's father's wish. He wanted me to leave their company.
“Your eyes are always gloomy, i told you already na huwag mo na muna isipin 'yung mga nangyari last week. Right?” After kong makaupo ay sinabi niya 'yan, i know she's worried kasi sinabi ko sa kanya lahat and she got curious and at the same time shocked.
“Oh, by the way..Aeri messaged me kanina” I looked up on her and wala namang nagbago sa reaction ng mukha niya.
“what did she say?”
She sighed “she's asking if natuloy raw 'yung pagreresign mo sa company nila Minty.”
I also sighed because hearing those words and Minty's name from someone saddened me, I just miss her lang siguro.
“Just tell her that.. i'm fine, and don't worry about it.” sabi ko nalang
Hinila ni Luna ang upuan tsaka naupo and tumabi siya sa 'kin, i can't look at her eyes dahil alam kong nag-aalala rin siya sa nangyari these past few days.
“Actually, Gi's inviting us para mamayang gabi.”
“Why?”
“wala, sabi niya lang namiss niya raw lumabas kasama tayo.” Bigla akong napaisip sa sinabi niya. There's a huge possibility na nando'n din si Min and as much as i wanted to see her, i can't.
I know that she's mad at me for lying and not telling her about that contract..
“If you're bothering if sasama si Minty, hindi raw. She's busy daw lately.” Nakakakain pa ba siya nang maayos? does she get a good sleep? Nagworry tuloy ako sakaniya bigla pero naisip ko rin, may bago na pala siyang secretary at mas matagal niya pang nakasama 'yon unlike me.
Full of people, loud banging of music, different kinds of alcohol. We're here at the mini bar right now and i'm with Luna, Aeri, and Johane.
Napilitan lang talaga akong sumama kasi pinagbantaan ako ng kaibigan ko kanina habang nasa condo palang kami, she said na i needed this to freshen up my mind--to unwind. Pero hindi ganitong kaingay na lugar ang inaasahan ko, but i have no choice na umuwi pa kasi masyado nang maraming tao sa bar ngayon.
It's obvious that i'm not used to these kind of place but here i am..parang nah-hypnotize tuloy ako ng mga alak na inumin sila since i have this heavy feeling. And i heard before na kapag daw may dinadalang kalungkutan alak daw ang kasagutan. Rhyming.
“ Do you want to drink, Kat? Come on, minsan lang naman” It was Aeri who's encouraging me na uminom but i don't think na kakayanin ko dahil hindi talaga ako sanay sa mga mapapait and matatapang na mga drinks.
