Minty's POV
When i finally arrived sa location ng bar na sinabi ng barista through phone call, i wander my sight and parang magsasara na rin sila. There's no more plenty of people in here when i got in.
Dumiretso pa ako papasok and sumalubong sa akin ang lalaking matangkad na parang nagtatrabaho rito based on his outfit, he come closer towards my direction.
“Kayo po ba ang tinawagan ko ma'am? Ms. Minty?” I nodded my head agreeing, he sighed after that bago lumingon sa likuran niya.
“Where's my friend?” I asked, he signaled his hands to follow him and so i did.
“Kanina pa po ata siya natutulog dala na po ng kalasingan.”
“Thank you for watching her, i'll pay for all of her charges here.” I grab out my card and then i handed it to him, the guy nods his head before magpaalam at lumapit sa bar counter.
Nilapitan ko si Stacey na nakayuko ang ulo sa table, she looks mess right now at parang wasted talaga. I decided to wake her up by simply poking her arm.
“Stacey, wake up.” Panggigising ko pero parang wala siyang naririnig, she may be sleeping peacefully now. But, hindi ko naman siya maiiwan dito nang mag-isa at baka may mangyari pang masama sa kaniya.
I poked her harder this time and i heard her groan because of it.
“Stacey, you need to go home. Tumayo kana diyan.” I uttered seriously, nakita ko ang unti-unting pag-angat niya ng ulo. I instantly noticed her puffy eyes at parang kagagaling lang sa pag-iyak.
“What happened to you? And why are you here alone?”
“Min--ty?” she asked drunkily, and i guess she's trying hard to open her eyes.
“Yes, and we need to get out of here.”
“Why are you here? I thought.. i t-thought you don't care about me anymore?” I released a deep breath first before answering her.
“I still care about you that's why i'm here, and you're still my friend, Stace. I don't want something bad happen to you.” seryosong tugon ko habang nakatingin pa rin sa kaniya, mabilis ko siyang nalapitan nang bigla nalang siyang tumayo. She almost fell off because of her drunkiness.
I held her waist carefully dahil baka matumba na naman siya, glad na nakabalik na rin ang lalaki kanina na dala ang card ko. I accepted it right away before bidding my goodbye and thank you on him.
“Stace, pull yourself together. We still need to walk papunta sa kotse.” She's just humming at parang naiintindihan niya pa rin naman ang mga sinasabi ko kanina pa while we're walking on our way to my car.
“There! Finally..” I heaved a deep sigh in relief nang mapasok ko na siya sa kotse ko. Now, i just need to drive her to their house. I decided na dalhin nalang siya sa bahay kung nasaan may taong pwedeng mag-alaga sa kaniya, i don't know how to handle a drunk woman.
“Minty? Ikaw ba 'yan?” salubong na sabi ni yaya Mary, buti nalang may gising pa sa bahay nila Stacey.
“Yes po, good evening po. I'm just here to drop Stacey home.. lasing po kasi siya and gladly i was the one who got a call by a worker sa bar na pinag-inuman niya.” I explained, she looks shocked dahil sa narinig niya galing sa 'kin. She immediately averted her eyes on my side kung nasaan si Stacey. We are almost hugging dahil sa pwesto namin ngayon, whilst holding her waist to support her body.
